I was just traveling through Birmingham and had to stop here to try the food. I am gluten-intolerant and hardly get to enjoy fried food. I had the chicken and waffles at the restaurant and ordered the fried chicken plate and the fried catfish with coleslaw to go.
The chicken and waffles were absolutely delicious. Every bite. The chicken was flavorful and crispy, the warm peaches on the waffle. Even the sauces were delicious. They had an in-house made syrup for the waffles that was incredible. I usually don’t like mustard but decided to try their in-house made honey mustard and I loved it so much I was wiping the container for every drop.
When I arrived back in Florida, I tried the fried catfish and chicken wings. Unbelievably delicious. All gluten free. For anyone, gluten-intolerant or not, this food is absolutely delicious.
Also! Service was so quick and the staff were so helpful and accommodating — asking about dietary restrictions and making modifications when needed.
Can’t wait to get a chance to go back.
There are such limited gluten free options where we live that I had not eaten fried chicken in 6 months. I was super excited to see all of the options they had to offer. I had chicken and waffles with fruit and it was delicious! The batter of the chicken matched the waffles perfectly and it came out hot and fast. I also enjoyed their homemade lemonade. The people working there were friendly and came by our table to see if we needed anything even though it is a counter serve restaurant.
Everything was so perfect, we got the chicken and waffles with the warm peaches for topping. It’ll make your tongue slap ya brain. Homemade syrup was divine, the wing sauce was ever better, chicken and waffle cooked to perfection! Customer service was top tier! Very welcoming!!

In town visiting and decided to try this place. Glad I did, because from the service, to the food, and atmosphere, it exceeded expectations. Krystal took our orders and although I have no dietary restrictions, my friend was ordering for his wife and was very happy that they were able to accommodate with items being gluten free. Especially on Tuesdays. Will definitely return and visit.
Ordered the hot chicken and waffles. You’re able to substitute the wings for tenders. Waffle had flavor by itself and the fresh warm peaches with house made butter complimented each other very well.
Amazing. Not from here, but that burger is the best I’ve eaten for as long as I can remember, and I love burgers. That home-cooked flavor is next level. My wife had the gluten-free chicken and waffles. Both were great, and that wing sauce they have is delicious. We will be stopping by next time we’re in town.
