  1. Best location! Has 3 restaurants. Walking distance to ferry boat, city cruises, and maritime museum, they have a free shuttle to the airport. Our room looked out on the harbor. Clean and comfortable! Very quiet except for some outside city noises. After 10 p.m., we didn’t hear anything. Full size shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap & lotion in bathroom!

  2. I recently stayed at the Wyndham San Diego Bayside, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. On the one hand, the location is truly unbeatable. Nestled right on the waterfront, the views are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. The proximity to downtown and local attractions made exploring the area a breeze. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I slept well each night. However, the hotel itself feels like it’s stuck in a different era. The decor is dated, and some areas could definitely use a refresh. Despite that, the free airport shuttle and convenient location made up for the hotel’s shortcomings.

  3. This is a great hotel in a location that can’t be beat! We had a gorgeous view of the bay, beautiful sunsets and sunrises every day. We had a good night’s sleep every night in very comfortable beds with nice pillows and everything was clean. The only drawbacks were we could hear the people upstairs opening and closing their sliding porch door constantly, rearranging their furniture up there on the porch; the bathroom could use some T.L.C. and touch ups of the cabinets in spots which the varnish has worn off and the shower could use a good scrub so the grout appeared more clean. All that being said, we had a lovely time and would stay there again. The kids loved the pool, too!

  4. Location is great. We had a room overlooking the harbor on the 11th floor. Nice balcony with chairs. The room and bathroom were small and the beds were soft.
Several days after checking out, the hotel charged my credit card $7 for a bottle of water, of which we never drank nor even touched. I called the hotel and the incorrect charge was credited.

  5. The best part of this hotel is the location. That’s about it. The rooms are very small. Our view of the ocean from our balcony was amazing, but once you step inside the room or bathroom they are just too small. The housekeeping is not the best. There were marks on the walls, dirt marks next to the vent in the ceiling, paint patches that were glossy colored paint over a flat wall and dust bunnies on top of the lamp shades. The only reason I might ever go back would be for the view and the location only. But I love a nice room so I’ll just walk to the locations I want to visit next time. Plus, if you stay in the right place then you can use the Fred free of charge to get around the little downtown area of the city.
