  1. The location is great, if not a little dirty. My husband and I have conflicting opinions about the cleanliness of the room, but a couple things are just fact. The pool is out of order “Indefinitely”. The elevator license expired 2 years ago. The “do not disturb” placard will NOT stay on the door handle. The bathroom fan is so loud you can’t hear your own inner dialog. The water pressure is so terrible the toilet struggles to flush. And for all the money we spent to stay here, we were surprised there was NO breakfast foods offered at all. What you’re saving on pool maintenance, you can’t offer cereal? Makes me wonder what they’re spending the money on. But the AC works, the shower drains, the coffee pot works and the beds have pillows and blankets. So, if you’re looking for somewhere to sleep, probably go down the road ’cause there’s an unidentified noise coming from the bathroom at night. The full length mirror is nice, and so are the bedside plug ins. Double check the alarm clock though, cause that sucked when it went off at 4:30 this morning. I’ll lose a ton of money if I leave because I booked through a 3rd party, so definitely avoid that as well.

  2. Neighborhood is sketch but they have security on property, if you ain’t washed a little with the hood don’t stay here. Don’t mess with no one and people won’t mess with you! Staff was amazing. We are from Vegas so it’s normal for us. You are 5 mins from sea world and the beach right over the bridge, kids had an amazing time ! The room was spacious, bathroom was small but overall great stay. Thank you.

  3. DO NOT STAY HERE!
We originally booked this place for 7days. We arrived later at night and right away seen people smoking in the parking lot and smelled weed. We talked to front desk and mentioned we would not be staying the full 7 days and checking out the very next day to which the receptionist (who was a male) was apologetic and understanding.
We took our family to the room which was remodeled and “decent” but you can still smell the old musk, see that it was painted over and itch through the night. Sheets were covered in stains and there was boogers literally on the walls! Their halls reek of cigarettes and weed, you hear random woman outside through the night. Our kids didn’t feel safe and neither did we.
We didn’t sleep and checked out around 6am the next morning to which the receptionist (a female) refused to give us any paperwork of out checkout stating “you booked through a third party they will give you what you need”
Well since the hotel has charged us for the 7day stay and has continued to charge stating “you never checked out”. Totally over $1900 in charges.
They are refusing a refund or any wrong doing. Don’t fall for their edited images and false advertising. This place is in the pits of San Diego and still a motel that was slapped with new paint to make looks “appealing”.
If you happen to stay here freeze any further charges from this place. If you can avoid this motel I highly recommend you do. There is plenty of better places around San Diego than this.
Not kid friendly, not great value, not luxurious, not a hotel, no great views and not quite!

  4. Our family of 4 had a great last minute stay here. We booked this hotel room not even 24 hours prior to our arrival in San Diego and had zero issue with it. Plenty of parking space. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean and the hot water worked no problem.
The only thing is that the pool and Jacuzzi were not available when we stayed here, which would have been an even better stay. Overall, for the price, for the comfort, for the customer service, for the easy online check out, and how clean everything was, I def recommend this place for a quick stay when needed.

  5. Arrived at 11am which was too early to check in which is understandable. Came back at 2.30 and was told to wait till 3. Besides that Adriana was tremendously helpful and friendly. Other gentleman upfront was great just didn’t catch his name. Property is clean. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Overall a great 3 night stay.
