I already stopped shopping with Winn Dixie due to the bait and switch practices they have. I just ran in to the hwy 69 store to grab 2 gallons of milk since I ate at a restaurant near by and I’m kicking myself. It happened again! Every version if the milk I got was on sale for 3.99. EXCEPT the 2%. Of course the I got wasn’t and I didn’t notice until I got to the register! So infuriating! Never again.
Winn Dixie is not exactly known for its cleanliness but this store ranks up there with any Publix or other fancy grocery store in terms of being clean, well-lit and staffed by friendly folks.
There is a Public right down the road but I often find myself here instead when visiting town as the prices are great and the staff is friendly. Sometimes during the later hours, things aren’t quite as great, thus the 4 star review instead of a 5 star review.
Also, sometimes on Friday nights they have the smoker going out front and music is playing and it’s a party at the local WD and it doesn’t get much better than that.
Winn- Dixie I want shop here but it is just so pricey. Now , you do have good deal on occasion but it is just not enough to justify.
Store is good but I really don’t like self check out. It means I’ve got to lift everything 5 times. I mean, where is the customer service? It cuts down on my spending though because I am not getting a big buggy full if I have to self checkout!
