WinCo Foods prides itself on being an employee-owned company, so why not take more pride in your store? Can I get a cart that doesn’t thump loudly throughout the store? Can I go through self-checkout without the majority of the checkouts being out of order? The floors are frequently dirty. The only reason I didn’t give it just one star is because Winco typically has better prices than other grocery stores on the northwest side of Fresno. I’ve been coming here for more than 20 years, but more and more, I dread coming here.
Went yesterday and spent $268. Lines took almost 20 minutes. Lady cashier doesn’t greet or smile and takes so long to check people out. My ice cream is ruined, popsicles gross. The prices are so high. Almost $4 for an angel food cake mix. With the prices high and me doing all the work and waiting forever I’ll pass. Even the pizza is bad now and gives heartburn. Aldi’s it is 👍 also everytime I buy alfalfa sprouts they’re moldy underneath. Every dang time.
Went back last week. Only two registers open. Again I waited over twenty minutes. Why do your lines take so long? A man hopped on a register but of course people are taken from other lines which just pisses everyone off even more. Hire more cashiers you used to have a lot more help.
Very Good prices. Much better selection verses other discount grocery outlets and Walmart. Meat and deli departments thumbs up. Bakery department so so. Excellent frozen food department.
