Whole foods is still my first choice, but they aren’t what they use to be. Meat and fish counters, although still beautiful, they are sometimes empty with product. Delivery trucks showing up after mid morning. Not acceptable. The same is true of the vegetable section. A grocery store without carrots! Unacceptable. Too many 365 products replacing better products. Come on whole foods, you can do better. This has nothing to do with the hard working people on the floor. This is a management problem.
I use to shop there a lot. Over the last few years the customer service has become terrible. I’ve been followed around the store by multiple employees. They make it obvious they are following me. I usually come in after working out and I wear hoodies in the heat due to injuries I’m ashamed to show so I get why they might think I’m weird and need to be watched but 3 different workers is overboard. when I’ve asked for help looking for specific items on my list I am met with attitude or I am ignored and dismissed. It feels like they only employee those with highschool mean girl personalities. I get its hot and work sucks but still. The fresh meals area looks vile now. Whoever is in charge of quality control needs to step up. Personally I’ve moved passed Whole Foods and prefer Sprouts. The staff is friendly and they don’t just stare at you if you actively need help reaching something either.
I was impressed. 3.5 stars. The selection of food, bakery, snacks, etc are different from your local grocery stores. A must if you have never been there. Prices are a lot higher compared. However there were a lot of sales.
The last two times I have shopped in the vitamin/health area of the Fresno Whole Foods, no one wants to help customers. Both times, associates were chatting with each other and ignoring waiting customers. In all other areas of the store, associates are very helpful. I do not feel welcome in the vitamin/health aisles.
It is a Whole Foods, it is awesome 🙂. Per their standards in other places, a clean, well lit store, with a great selection of products and produce. There have a wide selection of to go foods, from pizza to made to order sandwiches to sushi to there salad bar. We particularly appreciate how much of the produce (and bakery items) are locally sourced. The fish er purchased was fresh, and yummy.
Whole Foods has great customer service, and that’s true in this store as well.
