I went to the Jasper career center and I just want to say that the people down there are totally useless as far as getting help with your unemployment.They have a gentleman from unemployment who is there I assume to help people with there unemployment but when I called to tell him that Iām having same problem with my card the receptionist /office manager Kristi I believes her name but not for sure on that but ,to anyone who hadnāt been to the Jasper career center itās one big room with maybe 10 desks and the man from unemployment desk is right in the same section as the other desks and this lady refused to let me speak with him or deliver a message and because of that I cannot use the money on my card.I canāt pay my bills,I canāt fix my car and getting back to Jasper with no gas money and no reliable car to drive as proved to be next to impossible.Because this woman couldnāt sit st her desk and simply say Hey John (not his name)this lady needs you to resend the birthdate to the the Way to Go program.Its the only thing holding her upāNow remember Iāve already been down there once and took my ID to verify my birthdate and was told over the phone that the problem had been solved.I wouldnāt wish this experience on my worst enemy
minimal & outdated advice/guidance. Most of the employees donāt do anything for job seekers. Better off checking Indeed
