Walkons is always a roll of the dice for me. We’ve had some less than average visits, but it is normally with service. This particular visit was good in that area and the food was very good. The Bayou Pasta is always a winner. Waitress was very friendly and efficient. We had a table of seven and everyone was pleased with everything. It’s a good sports bar atmosphere with plenty of large televisions. Plenty of parking.
Walk-On’s was pretty good. The food I received was served warm, not pipping hot. The server was nice. I ordered the Bayou pasta, and it could have been far more satisfying with more seasonings in the sauce. The shrimp were fried perfectly and well seasoned. However, the crawfish sauce was kinda bland. I’m gonna try them again because the food had lots of potential. I also ordered red beans and rice, and the issues were actually the same. It wasn’t pipping hot and needed more flavor.
I enjoyed the sports bar setting. They had so many huge screen televisions. All of the sports history and paintings were awesome.
Good food and service! Favorite part was the menu prices… I felt like I was dining in 2020 again!
Definitely will be back soon. They told me if I write a review that they will send me a coupon for a free appetizer… if that’s the case then I’ll be back asap!
Everything was good, service was a little off & the Beignets well they wasn’t bad but wasn’t good either
