  1. I love the fried chicken at the deli. And the only reason I go there is for the fried Chicken. I was gone for two and a half years. I came back to Indio California. In the first thing I wanted was, Vons fried Chicken. And remind you, I only go there for the chicken but, I end up spending more than I want to. But I’m happy because I got my 8 piece dark meat fried Chicken 😁. But now, they told me the manager discontinued that 😡 . So, I guess I won’t be going there no more. I used to give them a five stars but now 😠 ⭐

  2. Update: They contacted me and said if I gave them my phone number the Store Director would follow up with me. So I gave my number. No follow up and it’s April 16th. Their poor customer service starts at the top.

April 7th. Vons in La Quinta. I like the six pack policy Vons has. They only had three of the wine I prefer. I had one more item to purchase besides the wine. I asked the first cashier if I could still get the special rate. He said he wasn’t authorized to do that. I asked if there was someone in the store that could. He said yeah the manager. I asked if the manager was available. He said yeah she’s right behind me. This cashier was very cold and unresponsive. I had to ask for each step. I asked if I should just get in her line and then he looked at me and smiled and said yes that would be best. I didn’t mind helping the cashiers out and I didn’t want to hold up the lines so I got in her line. As I approached her she said very cold you have to buy six. I said you only have three can you honor it. She was rude and short with me and said she would have to check with the back to see if they had more. I patiently waited, as I didn’t mind. I was just waiting for an answer. The next couple people went thru the line and she gets her phone call. No one is in her line now. She rudely says he is still looking and if we don’t have anymore you can’t have the sale price. I said, you know that’s really ok can you just ring my one item up. She said no you have to go to the next cashier. I said can’t you just ring this up for me she said no go to her and hurried off chasing after the first cashier I spoke to. Now I’m not sure but there definitely was some conflict going on between the management and other staff. The bag person at the next cashier said, as I got in back of her line for my one item, ‘WHOA’ with big eyed expression and a chuckle on the end. I am still mystified this happened. It really was a very humiliating experience. I had a question I was not rude. A customer does not deserve to be treated like this. I was ridiculed and humiliated.
Perhaps Albertsons needs to have their management trained on customer service. It starts at the top!!! Not much further to the next grocery store.
