I really love the people who work at this location! They’re always so kind and welcoming. I’ve gone to six different VASAs and this one is most definitely the best (largely due to the friendly staff).
I’ve been training with PT Carrie for about a month now and she has already taught me so much. She’s so supportive and encouraging, and she is really helping improve my health. I trained for a day with Victoria (while Carrie was out), and she is also really terrific!
This location has everything you might expect and then some. Sauna, pool, aqua massage chairs, tanning, Studio Red, group classes….
I finally made it to an aqua fitness class last Saturday, and it was amazing!! I plan on going to a different location for another aqua fitness class because this location doesn’t offer them at night, unfortunately. I work most days (including Saturdays) and I would really love to see more evening/night classes offered at this location, especially the aqua fitness class! I haven’t yet taken one of their yoga classes but I hope to do so soon.
Anyhow, I love this location and I am so glad to have started this journey. Thanks, WVC VASA Staff!! 🙂
Great gym! Was traveling on business, and this gym is part of the network of fitness organizations that allows me access. It’s so great to be able to go to a real gym instead of the lousy hotel “workout room.” This place really has everything; machines, free weights, cardio, functional fitness area, pool, sauna, steam. The facility is very large, and even though it was pretty full on the nights I worked out, I was always able to find a station that was free. George at the front desk was awesome! Even had an opportunity to meet his mother! Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you, Vasa Fitness!
84 days ago I thought about changing my lifestyle and health and I chose to enter the gym and I’m super excited about the change I’ve had and let’s go for more thank you vasa I recommend the studio red at 1000
This review is for Carrie! She is an awesome instructor, and her Aqua Fitness class is the best. I’m only able to go on Saturday so I’d LOVE to see her teach a night class. She is energetic and meets you where you are with your fitness level.
If I could rate this location a 0 I would.
My friends and I regularly book racquetball courts once a week. Unfortunately, we’ve had several issues with one of the staff members. Despite making reservations well in advance, he often kicks us out to give the court to his friends. On one occasion, after confirming our booking with a helpful staff member, we were interrupted mid-game by him insisting we leave because his friends were waiting. We had to go back to the front desk and have the staff member intervene to uphold our reservation.
In another instance, the court lights went off, and when my friend asked him to turn them back on, he was absorbed in his phone and told her he’d get to it later. She waited for over 10 minutes, repeatedly asking, while he ignored her. Frustrated, she eventually turned the lights on herself, which led to him yelling at her.
We’ve also had issues with parking. My husband rides a motorcycle to the gym and, following Utah transportation guidelines, avoids taking up a full parking space by parking his bike on the sidewalk beside the building, ensuring it doesn’t obstruct the walkway. However, this staff member confronted him, threatening to call the fire department to tow the bike and issue a hefty fine. He even suggested parking in the handicap spot, which is clearly illegal nor what would be best for others attempting to visit the gym that need that space.
It’s evident that Wyatt, the worker, seems to enjoy causing problems for everyone. However, I’ve reached my limit with the consistently poor service he has provided on multiple occasions.
