For delivery drivers: They do not have number directions for the units on the floors when you exit the elevator. Be sure to ask reception for directions.
If you are looking for a basic place to stay for a reasonable price in this area, this place fits the bill. However, it has the feel of a hostel in some ways, but better than most hostels. Common kitchen for use by all. The rooms are very basic, fairly clean and comfortable enough. A lot of students stay here so it can get a bit noisy. Our room has a double bed, private bath, kitchenette with small fridge, sink and microwave. There’s also a double desk and TV. Great location in little Italy. I would stay here again.
Nice location, facilities are not. Kitchen facilities are terrible and we had to buy our own. Cleaning staff was very polite, and most of the crew was as well. One of our beds broke after 2 weeks and so did the shower. They fixed it within 24hrs – so that’s good.
I can recommend this place if you’re willing to be in an open environment, not focusing on quality but want to be close to the city center.
This is a great place to stay for a night or long term. They have the best rates in this area. Little Italy is right there in walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. The staff here is friendly and helpful. They have only microwave and fridge in the rooms but downstairs is a huge kitchen to use with everything you need to make a meal for 1 or 20. Without a doubt this is the best place to stay on the downtown area for a good price.
We stayed there for one month last summer.
Don´t expect a fancy place, I think it is meant for students.
It is not the cleanest and quietest place but it isn’t expensive and has a good location.
We were lucky with the room cause it was at the rear of the building, so it wasn’t noisy.
It has free wifi, community kitchen and Laundry facilities.
Regardless, if I visit San Diego again for a long stay, I will stay at Vantaggio.
