  1. Love their bakery , today I had an incident but it was miscommunication. When I ordered my cake yesterday I paid at the register but I didn’t not show the receipt to bakery I thought it was when we pick it up the next day. So today I went to pick up my cakes and they were never made because I didn’t show them the receipts yesterday. I was upset ofcourse because the party was happening and I expected to quickly pick it up. In the end I picked a cake closest to the one I picked and they were able to get my refund for the second cake. The store manager was polite and apologized. I think they should make it clear or put a sign to bring back receipt right away if ordering a cake from book. The cake was delicious in the end , everyone at party loved it. Their cakes are so good

  2. No complaints on grocery store itself but not a huge fan of some of the personnel they have serving customers in the carnicería. I usually go to my local mom and pop carnicería but at times I find myself needing to go to Vallarta for convenience since it’s about a block away from my workplace and the main reason I avoid it is again the employees they have serving customers in the carnicería, it’s usually the same 2 that I have unpleasant interactions with. An older man and older woman, they just aren’t friendly and it’s happened more than once when there’s occasions in which I ask for a meat to be cut a certain way and they’ll give me attitude about it or say that they’ll do it but it might not come out exactly how I am asking. The reason this frustrates me is that they are literally standing in front of a wall in which they’ve put “We’ll cut it your way”! The only time I’ve gotten really good service when I’ve made a request was with a very young man who genuinely seemed happy to help me and even came back to show me how he was cutting it to ask if I was happy with it or would like it differently, unfortunately after that occasion I haven’t seen him again. I try to stick to my local carnicería because they are always happy to cut the meats as per my request but it would just be nice if Vallarta’s would stand by what they promote in saying “we’ll cut it your way”.

  3. First time coming to this new renovated Vallarta store. I used to love the old design especially because you would have two entrances/exit. You closed one now that you made the store bigger. It bothers me if there is an emergency you only have one exit/entrance. NOT COOL

    I came with my child and every second you are making store announcements to your employees. “John meet me in the produce”
    “John report to the office” “John pick up line one”’ “manager to register one”
    Vallarta is a multi million dollar company but you are too cheap to buy land phones for departments to communicate with your employees than be making intercom announcements every second. It’s super annoying. Very loud and so unnecessary and unprofessional for all your customers to be hearing. If you are too cheap to buy phones then buy walkie talkies so you communicate with your employees then for all to hear. 👂

    Thank you to the ladies that were sampling I got two coupons and saved some money when buying cheese and cream. I definitely won’t be back to your store to be listening to the managers be making annoying and dreadful announcements.

  4. Like coming to this market for the different options they offer. I especially love coming for the fresh drinks and green juices. I often get ceviche with my drinks. The markets also has products I don’t see at my regular American style markets.
