Well got here like 50 minutes late because no truck parking in the area
I was charging $150 late fee
Appointment Was 8 am
Got here 8:50 and i was out by 12:00
Still 3hours delivery and $402 lumper
I have Delivery time 5.00 am and check in 4.35 am. They unload very quick around one and half hrs. and send me link for lumper fees and I pay off. But for paper work I have to another 2 hrs. with doors open at -5 temp. After 2 hrs wait I call in office, the lady told if you call again it will more wait time for you. (She threatened).☹️☹️
Get off the 78 freeway at S Melsrose DR, go down a few miles and turn left on Park Center Dr, go a mile or so and US Foods will be on the right.. usually a line of trucks waiting if you are early.
I was able to check in right away and hit a dock. Others had pulled up to the entrance and were told to flip around and wait on the street, they let them pull in and flip around, but had to u-turn to come back and wait on the street…. I’d suggest you walk up to the call box and talk with the guy before you pull up to the entrance so you don’t lose your parking spot if you need to wait.
Appointment time 6am, showed up at 5:45 (I am a dryvan driver fyi) hit the dock and had lumper fee of $260. Had to wait for bills and was finally able to leave at 9:30am. Quick unloading, long wait for bills (they send txt messages to pay, I paid right away but still had to wait awhile to get my bills). The backing isn’t bad depending on what spot you get and how many trucks are already at the docks.
Not any truck stops around here, there is a rest area 30 miles north of US foods on the 5, it gets packed later in the day but it’s a good place to stop if you can.
Don’t even try to check in early you’ll get turned around call box the gate wait until someone answers. 6am appt given a door right away 267 lumper for 5 pallets is crazy. Didn’t receive paperwork until 10am.
There is no parking for semis waiting for appointments so go to living spaces next to Walmart and on the left hand side of living spaces you will see a quiet place to park with some people living in there vehicles.
