Top O’ The River is an absolute gem! We tried the world’s largest seafood platter, and it was perfect for the two of us. The platter was delicious and well worth it. The onion rings were the best I’ve ever had – incredibly crispy and huge! The fried pickles were also a highlight, packed with flavor and just the right amount of crunch.
The complimentary coleslaw and cornbread added a nice touch to the meal, making the experience even more enjoyable. And if you haven’t had their pickled onions, you’re missing out – they are simply the best!
To top it all off, the service was incredibly fast. We were impressed with how quickly our food arrived, especially considering the large portions.
If you’re looking for a fantastic dining experience with top-notch seafood and sides, look no further than Top O’ The River. Highly recommended!
Note: When you arrive and there’s a line, you’ll get a text after you check in. You MUST reply “all here” to the text. We got our table immediately after I did that. Get there early. It’s a huge place so the wait moves pretty quickly and you get to watch yourself on the waiting list link move up in the queue.
Took a bit to get our waitress to our table but that’s understandable as the place was packed. Once she came, we got our drinks, complementary sides, and appetizers quickly. Our food came out shortly thereafter also. So once the process started, it all moved quickly.
Great views for most of the seats.
Food was great. Went right around the time they opened and wait was less than 5 minutes. Service was quick and smooth. Nice view of the lake while you eat. First time, but will be back. Not expensive at all either.
First time coming and I was really amazed. I got catfish filets and broiled crawfish tails. Catfish fillet’s are there most popular dish! Our food came with pickled onions, cornbread, & slaw! We had so many leftovers so for the price you get to take a lot of food home with you. Overall, I had a great experience and highly recommend eating here!
Arrived at opening, seated quickly. Server was right there and food came out in just a few minutes. Great service and dining experience
