1. This place is advertised mainly as a pool with hotel rooms adjunct. However, nobody is allowed to use the pool- which was the only reason I, and I’m sure many, book this place. There are no signs anywhere that show pool hours- online nor in person. Instead, they just yell at you if you get in it. $260 wasted. False advertising. Will not return. Will spread the word.

2. Cute rooms.

   You can’t use the pool if you stay here unless you are booking 2 nights or more. Big red flag.

   Something you won’t find anywhere on the website, nor will anyone tell you, nor will it even be posted anywhere on the property is that pool hours start at 12pm. Checkout is 11am. It is unclear when the pool closes, but it is before 8pm since that is when we arrived the night before.

   Additionally, if you don’t check in sometime between 3-6pm, you won’t get any wifi info.

   We chatted with one of the staff about the pool, and were told “that’s what has been happening all summer”, as if we were supposed to know that already. Staff didn’t really seem to care that one of the big reasons we chose the place was for the pool.

   Would be a little less frustrated if it wasn’t $300/night off season on a weekday.

3. It was lovely. They have a mandatory 24hr gap between guests for sanitation of the room. We got one of the cabins. All redone, and very nice.

   The pool was relaxing, just our group and a couple other guests (around 5 – 10 people max). They have a big outdoor fireplace for distance hanging in the evening. No parties or music at night, but we stayed up chatting around the fire each night. (The woods has tons of fire wood that they are happy to provide.) The garden is well kept with beautiful flowers and fruits/veggies. Dog-friendly.

   All restaurants in town have outdoor seating and serve drinks until 8pm. The river was nice, but the pool was perfection with no wind, plenty of sun and room to spread out. The owners/operators of the Woods were so friendly. We had such a good time that we stayed a third night. Support this place. It’s a gem…

4. A very quaint little place for a quaint little town. Was greeted by Kimberly, who was especially friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and comfortable, the garden was beautiful and lush. The cabins were very soundproof and didn’t show any signs of abilities to disturb your neighbors. Definitely a nice place to stay.

5. Excellent comfortable stay, not a whole lot of amenities, but not looking for that exactly. The large full service room with kitchen and living space means it’s a great stay for couples or even 2 couples or a family of four. Clean and quiet. Only negative is the price, but that is a fairly standard price for similar style places in wine country. All are asking too much for not a lot more than the basics, but as they say, “location, location, location”
