  1. $25 / Night destination fee. Scalping their customers.
    Pool is smaller than it looks in the photos in the web site.
    Convention style hotel. Very confusing to walk around. You have to use a room card to call the elevator but not to use it. So all you have to do it’s just wait for one to arrive, so not really secure.
    Social hour is not worth attending. Not at all social and no atmosphere. Drink is limited to whatever bottle of wine is there and the appetizers are hoovered up by the people attending so you have to rush to line up if you want some.
    Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Nice shower.
    Nice pool and pool area.

  2. Ok! Location and the view we got (we already reserved a room with a bay view) was just awesome and give 5 starts for that.
    But the room we got and the staff behavior was awful.
    Starting with the staff: I was here for a conference and I reserved a room using company’s discounted rate. Please note when I say “discount” it wasn’t like I got it for “free”. The actual room price was $400 and I reserved it for $300. BUT apparently there is unwritten rule among staff or maybe from the manager that pay less attention to the people who book at a discounted rate! I Upon my arrival they did not have my room available, although I called and told my flight has some delay and I’ll be there at 11pm. I booked “King Bayview”, and they assigned “Standard City view” and the front desk staff was so rude and mentioned because I am with conference group they will assign any available room!!! I didn’t accept the room and requested the booked one. After a while they decided to assign someone else room that was queen bay view (still not the room I booked). The room I got was so old dated, the bathroom sink was clogged every time, the room was smelled. It just had that view. The card reader had problem. I was there for 5 nights and literally every night I had to go to the front desk and ask for reassigning my card. Other people had the same issue with their cards. Next time I won’t book this hotel and I don’t recommend it.

  3. UPDATE: It has been a week and despite their reply, we have gotten no email. They never followed up with us!

    When we first checked into our room, housekeeping was still cleaning and kicked us out of our room. I have never experienced that in my life. After reporting what happened, we were told by a manager that he would quickly find us a new room. The hotel’s manager forgot and left us waiting for over 20 minutes. In total, we were waiting in the lobby for 60 minutes for the staff to find us a new room. In our new room, we noticed that there were small stains in the sheets and on the pillow and had to request new bedding. My friend and I were extremely disappointed to receive zero compensation and only a free breakfast. From housekeeping all the way up to management, the establishment has extreme issues and poor customer service. They are also completely unwilling to compensate for the notable issues!

  4. Lovely hotel and great location, there is a destination fee but they offer free airport pick up and drop off which pays for itself. Staff were friendly ! Gym is small but has every thing you need plus a peloton bike they also have an outdoor gym area , plus pool and hot tub ! Bikes for rent in the lobby took them out great for hitting the sea wall and cruising . Overall happy and would stay here again .

  5. Room is nice and clean, service is great, and the staff is super friendly and helpful.
    The only thing I did not like at all was the fact that the window in my room was not opening even for a couple of inches. So instead of enjoying the nice and cool air from the Bay, I had to struggle with the noisy AC and couldn’t sleep well. If you are a little bit claustrophobic as I am, I would recommend to stay somewhere else.
    Attached is the photo from my room, where instead of the Bayview you can only see the concrete jungles of Downtown.
