  1. Literally had the BEST time here with my family! This was our first time. Rooms were clean and big. They accommodated us in keeping all 3 of our families close by eachother. The food from their grill was good, the pool games, the kids had fun with, and just an all around good time. Definitely will be back.

  2. Not very pleased with this resort at all. First off I booked through Marriot Vacation Club and the room pictured was nothing like the room we received. We even paid $150 extra to enjoy the resort on a holiday weekend and they offered no accommodation for the miss representation. Our room was SO small, outdated and very dusty! They said they were fully booked when we were right next door to the two larger rooms that remained empty our entire 4 day stay. Besides this they charge 27.50 a night for parking which is very inconvenient and no where near your room. You have to park very far then walk to your room in the heat only to find out you’re on the second floor and there is no elevator!
I’ve never been to any resort that has lacked such basic conveniences! On another note you can’t get clean towels they will charge you! Needless to say I do not reccomend this resort there are much better options in the desert!

  3. We spend a few weeks a year in the Palm Springs area and thought we would try The Westin. There was no one outside the entrance so we had to assume there’s no Valet Parking so we parked and dragged our luggage thought the 100+ heat. Once we made it back to the front some younger guy shows up on a golf cart and completely ignores us so I approach him asking where do we go to check in and he points towards the middle of the buildings. Apparently he doesn’t like his job.

Once we made our way to the front desk, the young lady was very nice and knowledgeable explaining how everything works and shows us where everything is on a colorful map. At that point we realized we didn’t do enough homework on the place because we were put into building 12 more then a half mile away. The place is really, really spread out. In normal weather it’s not an issue but in desert it’s not good. At least we were on the ground floor which is more of the rooms.

The walk outside to our room was miserable to say the least. Once there we discovered the room was a crisp 69°. Way too cold and scared of the huge temperature change getting us sick we decided to set the thermostat to 72° and l take off for a while.

The rooms are huge with little furniture as though the plans changed once the place was completed. There is a desk and counter and mini fridge and the bed is comfortable. The couch is really bad. The back cushions are way too soft and even with the provided pillows you can’t relax on it. The AC is really loud and struggles to cool the room so it runs for 5 minutes then shuts of for less then a minute.

They charge $15.00 for parking each time you leave and return. Again, we failed to do our homework otherwise we wouldn’t have stayed there.

We thought we would try their Pinzimini restaurant. The hostess said they didn’t need our room number and neither did the waiter so do not count on the $10.00 discount the girl at the desk claimed you get if you dine there. We’ll be offering a separate review for this place.

Overall we do no recommend The Westin Mission Hills. There are much more comfortable and convenient hotels available for a much better price that have Valet Parking.

  4. This resort is very nice and the staff are very attentive to the guests needs. The rooms are clean when we arrived with all the things needed for a nice stay. If your a golfer this resort is surrounded by PGA courses and less expensive one as well. Happy vacations and golf trips.

  5. Beds were comfortable, area was good space. Great view of the mountains. Service was good overall. It could be a bit cleaner, visible dirt in the bathroom. Visible dirt on the cabinets of the kitchen and bathroom. Not enough parking in the prime area near rooms. Location is ok. They do charge for extra towels until cleaning schedule comes.
