  1. No major complaints – staying for business.

The front desk was super helpful. The manager was very informative on the process of extending my reservation to an extra day and ensuring my items would be taken care of. Friendly staff – was greeted a million times upon my arrival.

The parking/valet is a bit much ($55/$75) a night. If I weren’t so sketched out about my window possibly being busted out on the street, I would just walk to/from another lot.

The A/C in my room does sound like it is dropping onto the floor and can be startling when it cuts on, but you adjust. Honestly, probably just needs to be repaired so don’t judge based on the noise as it kept the room cool.

A door stopper for the bathroom door would be nice as it closes on its own with some force. Be careful with your fingers.

  2. The Westin was a great place to stay! We had a rental car so we didn’t need the shuttle but that was a great option. I will say, expect to pay $55 for parking each day. It felt a little expensive to me, but the hotel was a great place to stay overall! $200 will be charged to your card when you check in for incidentals, as well.

The rooms were super nice. They had great shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided in shower dispensers, the room was already cooled down when we got in for the first time, and the pillows were amazing.

Again, if you have the expectation of paying the $200 for incidentals and $55/daily for parking, the hotel is worth it!

  3. One of the best hotels around today. I would say everything was top notch. The employees were above average for friendliness and service. The entire hotel was clean and fresh. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable! I’d love to know what that smell is when you walk into the hotel!!!

  4. I stayed there last weekend and had a great experience from the moment I arrived until I left. I was a very late arrival, but just walking in wowed me with the beautiful lobby! The people behind the counter were friendly and helpful even at that late hour, and even offered to bring something up to my room that I had forgotten. The room was very nice and the bed was SO comfortable! There was lots of space in the parking lot, and I felt safe coming in even late at night. I loved that it was close to the rental car terminal as well. I had read reviews about the bathroom door that doesn’t stay open, and the bathroom light that goes off automatically, so I was prepared for it and used the desk chair to prop the door open and turned on the light on my phone in case the light went out while I was in the shower, so no issues there. Overall this is a great hotel I highly recommend and will definitely be back to if I ever go back to L.A.

  5. Updated, clean, and was a higher end vibe. Sofa was quite comfortable, as was the bed. A great place to stay before flying out. The shuttle runs frequently and was very convenient. The only gripe is that for some reason the bathroom door is glass, which lets a lot of light into the room when someone is sleeping. Looks great, but certainly not practical. The bathroom itself was really sweet, so maybe a trade-off? Nice design effort, but…
