  1. Booked a couples massage here for my husband and I. The massage itself was good / ok. However, signage and parking instructions were terrible. We were also not told in advance the spa appointment covers valet parking. We parked in self parking and got lost in the complex for 15 minutes. We booked an 80 minute massage but only got a 50 minute massage. For $800, there are better places to go. We won’t be coming back.

  2. I’ve been going to the Spa at La Costa since they opened it years ago. I love the pool area and they recently just redid the locker rooms and indoor area which is great! But the last facial I had was TERRIBLE and they keep raising their prices. If you are going to keep raising your prices you should be sure your facialists are top-notch. Not only was mine late to her appointment she spent most of the time on my arms and shoulders and felt like she barely touched my face. Usually my skin is glowing after a facial but this $245 (plus automatic 20% tip) didn’t do anything but leave me feeling frustrated.

I do love the facilities, pool and spa lunch though which bumped this review up from a 1 star to a 3 star.

  3. Great experience. The spa grounds were lovely, and the spa facilities were amazing. Went on a Tuesday so it wasn’t crowded at all. Had an amazing 80 minute massage with the treatment room doors open, it was delightful. Enjoyed the day in the pool and spa. The roman shower is amazing, the steam and sauna large and comfortable. I agree with other posters, the dressing room is small and crowded with even a few ladies present.
Overall it was a 5 star experience, highly recommend!!

  4. It’s a beautiful property for sure. We went to have spa services and the fact that it includes use of the pool is great. But in all honesty the prices are the highest you’ll pay anywhere in North County. The food and drinks around the pool is outrageous also. But I will return when I feel like I can afford a huge Splurge.
