  1. I was very happy with this hotel, staying at and independent hotel is always a gamble, but I’d much rather spend my money with mom & pop vs a big corporation. This is far from mom and pop vibes, very trendy, great design. The best thing about this place is the room, I got a premium room and it had a separate bedroom, nice sized living room, big TVs in both, a little kitchenette and a sitting area outside. If the kitchen was a little bigger, I could have lived there! The pool area was very nice, they pump good music in there. Not a whole lot within walking distance but tons a quick drive away. I will definitely stay again and recommend the premium room.

  2. My husband and I stayed here for 4th of July weekend. At reception check in, Alfredo was so accommodating and very friendly. The room was so adorable (boutique style), colorful and comfortable and close to pool and bar. The bartender and chef were delightful and made us feel welcome. The pool was very clean and nice. Although, the pool was so warm because of the extreme heat 126 degrees out, it was not refreshing but it was not the resort’s fault and out of their control. We will definitely be staying there again, but maybe at a lower temperature. Love this place!

  3. My sister hosted a wedding next door and the Paloma Resort worked with her wedding party to help make it so memorable. The rooms were cute, guests were raving about it and the staff was incredibly kind. Everyone had an incredible time thanks to the Paloma Resort hospitality!!!

  4. My partner and I had such a lovely experience concerning our previous stay; the ambiance, food/drinks, and hospitality were superior. Before booking our second visit, I called the front desk/reception to ask a clarifying question, Paul received the call and was such a delight! Especially considering the call was received approximately @10:45pm. Paul was transparent, genial, personable and professional. The phone call alone inspired me to absolutely book a room in the immediate future. Kindness and patience go a long way and this establishment has a gem/keeper; thanks Paul for making my night !!!!

  5. My husband and I had the unfortunate displeasure of booking a short 3 day mini-moon.

Because of our concerns during just the first day at the β€œresort”, we ended up leaving early and only stayed 1 night & requested a refund.

    Details of concerns we have:
    1. Room walls are thin – we can hear conversations, television, snoring, coughing – no sense of privacy or ability to truly relax in our room.
We were on the top floor and somehow also heard footsteps & running above us (esp the construction crew in the morning)
Culmination of noise resulted in us having significant difficulty sleeping at night.

    2. Temperature of the room was cold and the settings on thermostat are restricted – we are unable to adjust temperature to make the stay more comfortable.

    3. If a place labels themselves as a resort, we expect more from hospitality, room decor, and amenities. The room was set up as we expect an Airbnb would be. We thought a resort would at least be better than a regular air bnb, especially for our mini-moon.

    4. (Most important concern for us) Staff members at the front demonstrated poor hospitality overall in our opinion.
Would HIGHLY give the suggestion for management and staff to undergo implicit bias and cultural diversity training.
We write this in the hopes that other guests who that exhibit cultural diversity have a better understanding of what they are signing up for.

We unfortunately would not recommend this establishment to anyone.
