We went here to celebrate a birthday. Love the atmosphere and the fact that there are multiple bar areas for guests to hang out in.
They did a great job with the renovations. Itās drawing a lot of attention and itās a fun place to go people watch too.
We tried to get into the restaurant but it was all booked so we ended up in the small restaurant outside on their patio overlooking the pool. Food was ok and pricey so I donāt really recommend. Drinks were good though.
We also went to the bowling alley and games rooms. It has a nice bar down there too but pretty empty when we were there. It was still early in the evening.
Perhaps the worst hotel experience iāve ever had. Wish it was stated on their website that youāre booking a hotel room in a nightclub. Stayed here before the renovation and was excited to see the results but have never regretted any purchase of my life more. The rooms and decor are obviously gorgeous but itās a little ridiculous they opted for literal $100 light switches over any attempt of soundproofing. I am writing this review at 2:30AM (posting a day late, sentiment is the same) and canāt sleep as the lobby is a nightclub. The provided earplugs donāt even help. Other guests have been hanging out and screaming in the hallway throughout the night. The music never turns off. Have attached a screenshot from Friday night ā only way to contact the lobby is via text and they are very slow to respond. The showers are also either scalding or freezing and no in between. Kettle in the room but no coffee or tea provided. No tissues in the room. House keeping didnāt come during the day. Beautiful hotel but itās going to be completely wrecked within a year the way itās cared for. They let me check out at noon since I couldnāt get to sleep until well after 3AM. Literally a miserable experience ā spent most of Saturday night hanging out in a different hotelās lobby as I was dreading coming back to this one.
Stayed here for a bachelorette staycation and it was amazing! The staff and service were impeccable, we felt so taken care of the entire time. The rooms were super trendy and every single section was decorated with funky decor. I swear it felt like a museum. Fun pool vibes and super relaxed. Good music playing but nothing insane! The restaurants and bars make it so you really never need to leave the hotel. Would definitely recommend! Felt like we left San Diego and were transported to old Hollywood. Great spot for a girls weekend!!!
Great place just donāt use the Valet and you will be fine! They lost my keys twice and I had to wait over 30 minutes. The venue for the comedy show was perfect. They had a piano player that was amazing!!
This place was great. It is a party almost every evening, but thatās why you stay here, for the experience!!
The bowling alley was fun, and the pool was perfect, and the drinks were superb. Definitely will be staying Herr in the future.
There was some construction outside my room early in the morning, but the hotel management had no problem moving us to an upgraded suite at no extra cost.
