Limited menu and not many options for folks who aren’t into spicy food. Very disappointed. Portions are good, customer service is fair, and their peach tea was refreshing which is why I’m giving it two stars. Other than that as I stated limited options and we arrived as soon as they opened and they were “out of bang bang shrimp” already…… Well maybe it shouldn’t be offered on the menu if it’s not going to be an available option and possibly substitute it with something else. Not a place I’d recommend
Great spot for lunch. Everything is delicious. It’s counter service but everyone very friendly and the owner is great with interacting with customers. A must try place when in Auburn. He prepared for long lines but don’t let it deter you, because it’s extremely popular and worth the wait.
Food is great! My husband got the baoritto. It had eggs, brisket, scallions, maybe other stuff. He said it was fantastic. I tried the brisket as well and it was really good. The quality of meat and flavor was great.
I got the buffalo chicken dip bao. It was also really good.
We were greeted and thanks as we left. Great service and the environment can be a little crowded but it is a college town. I highly recommend. I don’t live in the area but have wanted to try this place for a long time. I’ll definitely be back to try different flavors when in the area again.
My daughter and I came today for the first time. We had the chicken dip bao, the firecracker chicken bowl, ginger salad and the cinnabaos. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was phenomenal. Everyone is very personable. The only thing we didn’t love the taste of was the coleslaw in the bowl. It was warm. But then again, we really are not coleslaw loving people. We have wanted to visit there ever since they opened and finally made it today before they closed. They never made us feel rushed or anything, even even though we arrived just before they closed. Their brown sauce was also absolutely delicious!!! Go, you will not regret it.
This place is always busy, now I know why! They have the most delicious food -made to order. I had the bang bang shrimp bowl and ginger salad and I ate every bite. The staff was so friendly & sweet. I cannot wait to go back. Check it out-you will find out what you have been missing!!
