Mr. Danny that works in pluming went above and beyond today helping us. He used to be an electrician and was very patient in explaining and rigging up what we needed. He was so patient with me and my mom. He didn’t have to help us as much as he did but he took the time out of his day and was amazing help. Thank you so much Mr. Danny!! Mr. Danny needs a raise!!!
I am fully aware that customer service is in the toilet all around the world at this point, however, when you work for the customer service DESK you should have some level of professionalism. I have dealt with this Angie person several times and have NEVER had a good experience with her. On one occasion, when returning items, she was so busy trying to be right and “make sure” I wasn’t trying to cheat the store out of money she wasn’t paying attention to the fact that I had receipts and everything needed to return the items I was returning. I had to “check” her and only when I proved her wrong did she get some act right. This has been my experience every time I have dealt with her. Yesterday was the final straw. I went in there for help to order a product and I know that I can do it online however I needed help and had questions. When I walked in and saw her I should have known better! I tried not to deal with her and went to someone else who said they were a manager who of course referred me back to the customer service desk. As soon as I got up there and Angie saw that I had the product on my phone she immediately started with the “you can do this on your own” stuff, she was completely uninterested in hearing what I needed help with and said, “You can do this on your own”! Even as I was trying to ask questions and explain what I needed help with she kept referring me back to doing it online on my own. CLEARLY, if I came in here I have questions I can NOT find on my own! I am not dumb, nor am I computer illiterate, I needed help I couldn’t find on my own. Then, frustrated with her POOR customer service skills, I go to another person who claims to be the front-end manager, Steve, and pretty much get the same results, dismissive, and seemingly annoyed by the customer’s experience. This is ridiculous. If you don’t like people, which both of these people displayed, DON’T WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!
I really enjoy the kids’ projects each month. The website makes it easy to tell if they have what I am looking for. Even with inflation, the prices for the products I have needed have not made me want to cry while I’m shopping.
I want to recognize an outstanding employee at this store. Yolanda is such a hard worker, polite and just a joy to be served by. Employees like her deserve to be recognized and rewarded! Thanks Yolanda for your outstanding service! You are one of a kind!
Items I came for were not stocked except for one. The Home Depot app indicated the items were in-stock, and the location, but the item was not there. When I finally asked for assistance, James , was very short with me and pointed to the general direction that I should find the trash bags I was looking for. The trash bags were not there either.
