i usually love home depot, but i fell for a scam. when an employee asks you to fill out a survey and it has something to do with water, don’t entertain it. they said i would get a $20 home depot gift card, and after someone came into our house for 2 hours trying to convince us we’re going to get cancer from our water we NEVER received the gift card. they wanted us to pay $200 a month for their water filter source, and i completely wasted my time and energy to end up NOT RECEIVING THE GIFT CARD I WAS PROMISED.
God awful experience. Never buy appliances and have them deliver it. It will show up damaged, and then instead of having it replaced and set up another delivery, they will just cancel the order and not tell you. Good luck if you order from these people. And their customer service is completely worthless.
We were visiting the cabinet section. This morning. Alicia came to our assistance and gave us information on to contact for a design consultation. She was very kind and showed us flooring and tile as well. Home Depot should be proud to have an employee like Alicia on staff. Thanks again
2 visits within 1 week… 1st visit there were 3 employees standing in the isle 50 feet from the cash registers on the north end of the building while 6 people were in the only line that was open.
2nd visit I went in to spend about $1000 on a dewalt tool kit and lumber. Waited for 10 mins in the tool isle never saw an employee to only the cage to get the kit. I called the store phone line 2x asking for assistance in isle 11. Never once did a person come after 20 more mins of waiting. Never again! Left the cart in the isle and went to Lowe’s next door. Let’s see how that goes.
While at the self checkout, every terminal needed assistance from the staff, including mine, and staff was nowhere to be found. When she did show up it was apparent she was not very familiar with the equipment.
I needed a sheet of plywood cut in half and the elderly gentleman that cut it for me took his time to make sure it did not have ragged edges. I was pleasantly surprised when he followed me out to the parking lot to help me load.
