everything was delicious except the crab claws (they seemed slightly over cooked a little tough & not well seasoned) everything else was delicious & our server was very attentive 1st time here & we all agreed we will be back!!
The Fish Market is truly a Birmingham classic. Great history in Birmingham that has shaped a lot of the cuisine in the area. Fantastic Greek restaurant run by the original founder/owner. Food was fantastic ā had the Athenian Snapper ā would definitely recommend. Bread was delicious. Also recommend the Greek family salad (feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers). Definitely will be returning to try more of the menu!
The fish Market Southside has a delicious big plate of coleslaw and fried green tomatoes. Fish was good but a bit too salty. It was not very expensive.
I didnāt like where we were sitting at some weird place without windows and wooden walls away from the whole restaurant. The server was nice.
Excellent food and service. Apollo,, our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. We had the lunch catfish. Fried and grilled. The fried was not greasy as most fried seafood is. Very delicious. Greek Cole slaw was good. Highly recommend.
Paella was terribly greasy, I couldnāt it, nor the green beans or peas I ordered to go with it. The catfish was beautifully fried, it just lacked seasoning. Overall, it was not the usual experience we typically have.
