  1. Just left this paradise of a resort, and the location is stunning with many reasons to be outdoors. The marina is pristine with plenty of rentals, the pools are an oasis, every meal can be enjoyed outdoors, and staff is cordial and personable. Fire Fly features chef-driven dishes in a lovely setting with engaging Bobby, humorous Tomas, and others who spoil you with attention. Front desk and hotel staff try to meet your every need with such flair. Our accommodations were spotless and inviting with a tropical feel. Arranging our stay was so pleasant with phone calls and texts to stay in touch. Well worth the trip!

  2. Rooms were not what expected, very small and old and out dated. My biggest complaint was the made service walk in while my daughter was in the shower on the first day, then second day one the day our check out , the made service knocked on our door at 9 am woke us up and told them no thank you and again no , but they ignored us and came in again while we were all in bed sleeping. Why would they even do that on our check out day? Also I tried to tell the front desk there were cockroaches in our room crawling on the ceiling. Parking was very difficult as well. We have stayed in many hotels and this one is beautiful on pictures but deceiving once you get there.

  3. I had one of the best hotel stays of my life here – helpful staff, huge sprawling grounds that are clean and manicured, beautiful spacious rooms with amazing views, and an amazing restaurant I thoroughly enjoyed. Can’t say enough good things! Great spot for families as well!

  4. Only 2 criticisms of this hotel.
    1) parking situation is awful for the park view rooms. Spots are small and weirdly angled so that often people park crooked and end up block 2-3 spaces.
    2) breakfast buffet price for children is outrageous. $13 for a 2 year old is crazy.
Plus side is this is a gorgeous hotel in a good location. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would def stay here again with the knowledge that I need to make different breakfast plans for my family of 5 with 3 kids under the age of 5.

  5. My group ended up getting 4 rooms here. Very nice hotel. Pretty basic rooms but the pool was great with a family movie every night playing there. The little shop up at the office is amazing with a very nice lady that runs it. Please pay her a visit. Also near Sea World. Maybe 10 min drive if that.
