When I say this place is my new favorite, I mean it! The employees were friendly, the new summer menu is so good (I had the Gimme S’more Shaken Expresso), and they even had an assortment of my favorite hot sauces. This place is much better than any chains in the area.
10/10 will be going back, potentially tomorrow ❤️
I visit SOMD every few months and while I’m in town I always stop here!! There’s such a fantastic selection of coffee drinks and they make it just like I like it and top it with a chocolate covered coffee bean or two! This morning I tried the hot honey carnitas bowl and it was delicious!! Took a few bakery items for the road because that is the star of the show here!!
Went for a quick breakfast and lunch around 10:00 or so, and they were pretty busy about 5 people in line, but the wait was not long at all dispirit being busy. Great food, amazing drinks. I had an iced vanilla chia latte that was superb. For the food, I had a warmed crossaint and a headed up muffin, both of which came out perfect. Lastly, I got the. And let me tell you that. Was absolutely amazing! So I definitely recommend the beanery to anyone local or not if you looking for a great smaller locally owned coffe and bake shop I’d go here!
This is such a cute little spot, the service is great (we were told that the oven wasn’t working so they were using a different one and the wait would be longer, the food still came out super quick!)
I got the everything bagel with bacon, egg, cheese, avocado and tomato with a side of loaded potato soup, my partner got the gluten free chickpea wrap (he said it was good but would have been better if the wrap itself was warm).
The baked goods are massive- lithe bear claws are the size of my thigh and the eclairs are the size of my forearm!
I loved the chocolate covered coffee bean on the lid of my espresso- such a cute touch.
I absolutely love that there’s a local (woman owned!) coffee shop like this in the area to support! They always have fun, creative seasonal drinks and their bakery & food options are phenomenal. The atmosphere is cute and cozy.
I took one star off because of the service. Know before you go, this isn’t a place to grab a quick coffee. I regularly wait 15 minutes or more for a coffee and bagel. Which, when I’m not in a rush is fine. But it does make it difficult to stop in quick to support the business.
