I visited Superior Grocers today, 07/07/24, at 3:56 pm, and had an extremely unpleasant experience as a customer. Iāve never felt so unwelcome, rude, and disrespected. At the self-checkout, I asked the attendant, Stephanie, for a few bags, and she curtly responded, āYeah, at the end.ā This left me feeling unattended and rejected.
I had about 8-10 small items, and my husband was checking them out while I asked for the bags. Despite being only five feet from the register and watching us the whole time, Stephanie still refused to provide the bags. I informed my husband that she should be giving us bags now that we are finished, but never did.
We had to put our items back into the shopping cart without bags. When I asked for the attendantās name, she said it was Stephanie and unexpectedly roll her eyes. I replied, āThank you for the bags as we are all finished now,ā and Stephanie sarcastically responded, āYeah, youāre welcome,ā while rolling her eyes again.
This entire interaction left me feeling very unwelcome and disrespected, with Stephanie providing neither a positive nor friendly attitude, let alone proper service.
Clean store, good deals (especially Wednesdays), recommend their aguas frescas, donāt recommend their cakes. The tres leches cake isnāt tres leches, thereās no moisture to it when itās expected.
Yesterday I bought my daughter a chicken soup from here. Let me tell you the chicken soup tasted so nasty and it had a wired smell. Now I have food poisoning and so did my daughter. NEVER AGAIN.
Itās always so hard to get ahold of someone and they pick up the phone and hang up constantly.. . Thatās annoying why would you have a phone and never answer!!!
To the owner of this super market, I have been there a couple of times to see how disappointing to see the out side next to this super market dirty looking dried grass every where. Would you think the owne,r of this places could hired a crew to cleaned this up, it really is nasty to see this go to pot. I donāt go there any more. This needs to be reported to the health Department.
