  1. I was definitely surprised how clean it everything was. We checked in at 12:30am, the guy at the front desk was very nice. The rooms were super clean and beds were very comfortable. The daily housekeeper was very nice also. We checked the beds and sheets. Sheets were clean & no bedbugs found. The area felt safe. Only downfall was the breakfast that consisted of a prepackaged muffin and an apple, but I had read that in the reviews prior to booking. There is a Hardee’s right down the hill, so that wasn’t a deal breaker. It was only a 13min (3.1 miles) easy drive from UAB Hospital.

  2. Decided to get a room while kids were at a concert and then we stayed after the concert. I hung out and got some work done. The front desk was nice, but when I went to ask a question, no one could be found. The PARKING at night was scarce. I didn’t feel safe being a woman alone because of the way these young men were hanging around outside. And the location was kinda sketchy. But it was really close to the interstate, so that was a plus. And close enough to BJCC.
The room was OK.. good enough for sleeping. Sheets looked and smelled clean. The carpet felt weird, but I think it was clean as well. The restroom was nice. .. may have been newly remodeled. The Fridge froze my canned drink.
It had ice machines, a drink and a snack vending machine. Now … I was hoping to get a muffin or juice in the morning, but nothing was offered for breakfast even though it states free breakfast on the website.

Don’t stay if you are looking for luxury or as a woman alone!! But an inexpensive place to sleep after a concert instead of driving home … perfect!

  3. Came at a busy time and still got a room the night of. Got lucky with a very clean room with a renovated bathroom. Mostly quiet. Not enough parking on busy nights. Free breakfast is a stretch- just some muffins and coffee and juice, but we weren’t looking for much. Room was clean staff was nice, other than minor cosmetic damage and some trash outside we didn’t suffer. No bugs as far as we saw.

  4. So first off I want to say that the people you hire can really make or break a business. MR Brent or however he spelled his name . Is very racist and unprofessional. He sits on his phone all morning and when you walk into the hotel he doesn’t even look up from his phone and when he does he has a nasty attitude. Sir I’m spending my money not the other way around. Next I’m spending way too much money for them to say free breakfast and it’s just coffee and old muffins . I have paid cheaper and have had a full breakfast and clean and kids friendly . It took me a minute to write this because I stayed serval times and the only reason I wrote a review was because of Brent . The hotel is clean for the price and as far as the location is heavy police present I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing but with the activity on and around the property I innerstand . If they remove those lazy workers maybe they score would raise. However no one wants to try to sleep in a environment where they have nasty attitudes that energy has to go somewhere and I don’t want it . I wish I had my iPhone charge I would post pictures of the desk clerk on his phone so when you go in you will see what I mean avoid morning and night shift 🙃
