  1. Don’t expect much. You get what you pay for.

    Please read ALL reviews.

Room wasn’t ready at checkin time. Carpet was not vacuumed and had stains on it. The hotel hot water tank quit working so it was cold showers. No dishes in the kitchen cabinets. No coffee maker in the rooms nor was it constantly available in the lobby. The entry lock to the front took several attempts to work. While staying there the maintenance people removed the card reader from one of the other entrances preventing reentry at the stairs. The lobby was closed overnight, thankfully I didn’t have any issues other than reentry after taking my dog out for her morning walk.

  2. Staying here now to escape hurricane area. Rooms are not cleaned properly. This is something easily fixed. So why not do that? There was a contractor using the restroom when we walked in. Really? Unnecessary. Absolutely no hot water. Manager said it’s being worked on. Apparently forever? The only thing good about this place is the price and the manager is a rockstar service person working with a dismally bad hotel. Only stay here if you have no other choice.

  3. In the 5 months our company has utilized Suburban Studios as our temporary housing, we’ve witnessed the Manager, Monique, turn things around drastically. Between renovations, cleanliness, friendly and accomodating staff, and somehow keeping out the rowdy crowd even with the cheaper rates, there has been a visible and undeniable improvement. Monique is consistent and diligent in her efforts to make positive and sustainable changes. She addresses any issues head-on and handles things with a professional demeanor even in the face of indecency by individuals who were asked to leave the property.
For work housing, it’s perfect! It’s well priced, has a full kitchen, and it’s close to the highway.

  4. No elevator inside no ramp outside where the handicap parking is so there’s NO accessibility for handicap, the fire alarms are taped off with duct tape which is a fire hazard. Our room was in the basement, the glass is busted out, cigarette burnes on the counters, the fold out couch is broken, tv doesn’t work, phone doesn’t work, the toilet seat is too small for the toilet bowl, men’s underwear hanging in the bathroom, there’s mold and hair in the tub, no towels or wash clothes (front desk says they’re out), no coffee pot, no hair dryer, people in the parking lot doing drugs, begging for a cigarette and ask us for torches so they can heat up their pipes, homeless man sleeping at door, men riding through the parking lot picking up men and women then bringing them back a while later. Front desk tried to charge us twice after we already paid when we made the reservation, parking lot is not lit making it perfect for the ones using drugs to hide under a tree. It’s just an all around nasty, disgusting, unhealthy, dangerous place! We’re here for business and won’t stay here ever again.

  5. Disgusting. If you care about your health, do not stay here. When we got there it took 30 minutes for them to “clean” the room. First we walk in, everything smells of mold, because there is mold everywhere. The carpets are constantly wet. We found an insulin needle sitting on a chair, a baby food packet underneath the bed, a cigar, and a baby toy. This is after they “cleaned the room” There was hair on the toilet, and the towels reeked of vinegar. To top it all off there were people constantly yelling in the hallways or in their rooms so it was extremely difficult to sleep, and cars booming music in the parking lot. AWFUL.
