  1. This place may be older than I am, but that hasnā€™t dimmed the beauty of this resortā€¦. thereā€™s a beautiful little long boardwalk down to the river, and the water is clean and clear and cold in AUGUST. Also, thereā€™s an indoor and outdoor pool combo. The indoor is smaller and the walls echo something awful, but the outdoor is quite expansive and has a lovely raised patio and gazebo area. The cabins are like miniature houses, and will sleep up to 8, I think. They have 2 front entries and a back porch, with seating for up to 4 people and a table, in case you want to grill on the other side of the porch.

Thereā€™s a guard on duty most of the time, but thereā€™s also a coded-entry gate to prevent vehicular incursion if the guard is away. Itā€™s SO quiet, even knowing there are LOTS of people nearby, you can still enjoy the sight of a squirrel on a tree, birds flitting about and singing, and loveliest of all, the sound of crickets singing you to sleep.

  2. Sites are alright, a bit closer together than Iā€™d like, but this was originally built in the 60-70s and rugs were much smaller then. They are doing some renovations and the river access is amazing. Private campground so you either have to be a member or sit through their membership sales pitch. All the member we talked to liked it, however it just didnā€™t fit for my family.

  3. Our family trip here has been fabulous. We brought our rv and even extended our trip here. Lots of amenities and things for children to do. We also bought a membership. I highly recommend you talk to Shelley if youā€™re interested. She was super friendly and walked us through every detail on our package.
    Thanks Shelley.

  4. We were here for a membership promotion and camping. Our Tour Guide was Cheyanna. She was kind, pleasant and well informed of the program. We enjoyed our time with her and especially her personal interest in what was right and best for our lifestyle. Thank you Cheyanna! Great job and youā€™re an asset to the staff! Everyone was super nice and met great folks!

  5. This campground is run down and needs upgrades. Wifi is abysmal. Zero activities mon and tues. Cabin ac goes off every night and i had to go out and reset every night. Some amenities listed no longer exist or are highly unmaintained. Simple games like pool table have to be purchased. I wish i never bought the membership honestly
