  1. Staybridge Suites Anaheim at the Park continues to impress with its exceptional service and amenities, making it a top choice for our family. The staff’s warm and friendly demeanor sets the tone for a welcoming stay, while the well-equipped rooms cater to all our needs, ensuring a comfortable experience. The hotel’s prime location is ideal for Disney and LA adventures, making it a sweet spot for exploring the area. The convenience of being able to walk to Disneyland or Downtown Disney adds a special touch to our visits. The standout breakfast remains a highlight, exceeding all expectations and enhancing our overall experience. The in-room kitchen is a fantastic addition, allowing us to save money and prepare meals for the kids. While parking may be a bit tight, we always find an available spot, and the elevators, though limited, do not detract from the hotel’s charm. We have returned to Staybridge Suites Anaheim at the Park twice already and have another visit planned for later this year, solidifying it as our go-to choice for a memorable and enjoyable stay in the area.

  2. We just stayed here last week (4/20/24 – 4/23/24). We had 4 adults and a 1 year old. The room work out great for us as it had 2 beds in the bedroom and the sofa in the main area turned into a bed. They also brought us a crib at no additional charge. The place offer a free breakfast that was better than most continental breakfasts at other places with a lot of options and variety from fresh fruit, eggs, omelets, waffles, cereal, juice, soda, potatoes, various breads and bagels, and my favorite the biscuits and gravy. They also have a social hour deal on some week nights from like 5:30-7:00 where you can go get free wine, beer on tap, snacks and a salad bar. The location is right off the freeway on Ball Ave a short distance away from Disneyland. There are 2 shuttle pickups close by. 1 is across the street, and the other is about 50 yards down the street.
The only real downside I could find if any at all would be the swimming pool. It is very small, the water was very cold, and it is in the middle of the buildings so it rarely has any sunlight other than about 2 hours per day. Also, there aren’t really and places to eat within reasonable walking distance, but several option within a short drive. I would say about a 2 mile radius. Downtown Disney is also a great option. The staff was friendly. The place was pretty clean, and they come and clean the rooms every day still unlike most hotels since COVID. Overall, I would give this place a 4.3/5

  3. Alert: Unauthorized staff entered our room without knocking or announcement multiple times. The first time scared my little children while I was using bathroom and the second time upset my infant baby (see cons #2 for details).

We stayed in the Staybridge Suites for 5 nights for our Disneyland trip. We are a family of 4 with little children. Here are the Pros and Cons of this property.
Pros: this property is 5 mins driving to the theme park. The receptionist upon arrival was friendly and she offered us a discount for parking since we stayed for 5 nights.

Cons: there are so many drawbacks of this property.
    1. The property is heavily used and aged. It needs upgrades or better maintenance. For example, the chairs and the ottomans have worn out and have very rough edges. The Carpet is also worn out.
    2. The staff is very unprofessional and needs training. They entered our room multiple times without our authorization with no knocking or announcement while our DND sign was on. On the first day we arrived, I was using bathroom and my daughter was in the living room while my husband was out to pick up food. There was a man entered our room without knocking or announcement and once he saw my daughter he closed the door without saying anything. My daughter told me and I called the front desk right away. At first they asked me if we asked for room service and I said no. After further confirmation, they said it was the supervisor who entered our room accidentally and he meant to enter a different room. The front desk lady assured us nobody else had our room key and we shouldn’t worry about it. No apology or anything after I said I felt unsafe and scared that a stranger could enter our room. We have two little children and were scared by this stranger.

The second time was on the 4th day of our stay. One male staff entered the room without knocking or announcement, and my husband asked why he was here and he said he thought my husband ordered some stuff which we didn’t. Again, he exited with no apology. My infant baby was sleeping and got woke up and upset. Furthermore, what if we were about to take a shower and naked? This was not acceptable and I didn’t get any apology but a simply words saying “no need to worry.”
    3. When we checked in, we were told the property will offer light room service everyday which means towel change and garbage pickup. But on the 4th day, nobody came to do the room service. When we called, we were told we shouldn’t expect room service everyday. So our garage didn’t get picked up.
    4. The room has a bar table with high chairs which is very difficult to have food with little children. With a kitchen in the room, it’s hard to understand why there’s no standard table.
    5. There is only one elevator that was shared by both guests and employees. It’s already very crowded with many guests during rush hour, but what made it worse is usually the staff with cleaning carts or tools also use the elevator so it’s nearly impossible to ride in the same elevator on first try. So expect for a 10 min wait in rush hour. We were almost late for our breakfast/dinner reservation because of the elevator. One trick we share is you push the up and down buttons at the same time if you mean to go down, when the elevator comes up, get on it to occupy the space so at least you can get in the elevator.
    6. As an IHG member, we asked for the late check out but was told no availability. Sure no problem, we understood. However, we have the right to stay in our room until 11AM to check out. What was annoying was that, the staff kept checking on us: one time at 9:15AM, then at 10:25AM and 10:55AM even with the “Do Not Disturb” sign on.

Overall, the location of this property is good but everything else is bad. I am not sure why this hotel has such a high rating which is so misleading for me to book here from start. I will not recommend staying here. With the same budget, you can find a better property.

  4. The staff were great . Unfortunately the cleaning of our room was not done 2 days after repeated telling to clean our room. Food service staff and front desk staff were 5 stars. Breakfast 5 stars snacks on Monday Tues Wed were 5 stars. To bad the ac in our room was in 1 bedroom not easy to sleep with that noisy fan. We had a suite. So that’s why 3 stars. Will not recommend to anyone this place.

  5. Located close to Disneyland. Staff very accommodating. Great breakfast. Just all around Great spot for family as rooms are big, plus equipped to fix own meals, again so close to Disneyland, priced good for location.
