I can’t say enough great things about my experience with Micah Larkin at Spectrum in Gardendale! We initially went in for a simple return, but Micah went above and beyond, helping us in ways we didn’t even know we needed. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely one of the sweetest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. Micah took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we left completely satisfied. His exceptional service made what could have been a quick visit into an outstanding experience. Spectrum is truly lucky to have such a dedicated employee, and I believe he deserves a raise! Thank you, Micah, for making our day!
I had the absolute pleasure of being assisted by Micah Larkin at Spectrum in Gardendale today around 4:30 and I can’t sing his praises enough! From the moment I walked in, Micah greeted me with a warm smile and went above and beyond to help me with everything I needed. He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and kind—truly the sweetest person ever! Micah made what could have been a stressful experience so smooth and enjoyable. He is a shining example of excellent customer service, and I genuinely believe he deserves a raise! Spectrum is lucky to have him, but honestly, they don’t deserve such a gem of an employee. Today, I drove to a different Spectrum store to get explanations about three different charges on my credit card. But, they were incapable of explaining all three of my bills, so I drove to the Spectrum store in Gardendale to get a fresh perspective from another sales clerk . I was blessed to work with Shaner. In less than five minutes, he showed me each of my bills. However, Shaner explained to me that the charges for “taxes and other fees” are on the same line on the bill, so the restock fee is the total in that category and no taxes were included. This was the same type of charge and explanation for the charge on another bill. Then, Shaner explained to me that the larger bill was the one with the taxes for the phone purchased, noting for me that this was the only time I ever paid taxes. With his calm demeanor and invaluable experience to handle this situation, I left knowing that my issue has been resolved without talking about my brain and my ability. I did not visit the store, nor do I live nearby it, but I had a technician sent to me from this location. His name was Kenneth. He was able to identify a problem I was having for months, called about several times, had multiple technicians sent my way but none could identify or resolve my problem. Within approximately 30 minutes of being here, not only did he get my problem resolved, but he explained what the problem was, AND called his appropriate supervisors to get the real issue resolved permanently for me. I have not had the greatest service from Spectrum internet but their customer service and technicians are kind and relatable. However, Kenneth has been the most knowledgeable and reliable technician yet!
I’ve had to go to the store a couple of times and have always been treated nicely by the staff. The store is always busy, but the staff takes the time to explain things, while getting through the line at a reasonable pace. The young man, Damien, who came out last night to fix the internet was so sweet and figured out what was wrong very quickly. Even though it was 8:00pm by the time he left, he was professional and respectful, no resentment for having to be out late. Within 2 hours we had a bucket truck out here to fix the wire between the telephone poles outside.
