Chili cheese dog was supposed to have onions on it and it didnāt. Ordered 2 route 44 sweet teas and Bree brought our order out to us and we sipped them and they were both unsweetened tea. Pressed the red button right away to let them know it wasnāt the right thing and was told it would be a while because theyāre making sweet tea. I said okay no problem, already paid for it so was willing to wait. She said the total price and I said I already paid and received the wrong thing. Bree came out again and said $7.57. I told her I already paid for it and that they gave us the wrong thing. Had the unsweetened ones ready for her to take back and she acted bothered by it. She didnāt apologize at all, demanded a receipt and I was way more friendly than she was even though I didnāt need to be at this point. The only thing that was made right were the southwest fries. She then said, āare you sure it said sweet?ā Acted like I, the customer, was dumb. And acted like she didnāt just give us the wrong thing less than 5 minutes ago. Acted like I didnāt pay for anything. Glad I had a receipt. Then she said after being shown the receipt that it was the new peopleās fault.
Work on apologizing and believing your customers. Not coming back to this sonic. When the other sonics mess up, they apologize and give coupons to accommodate your time. Not this one. Never fixed the chili dog either. Which was theft because I had to pay for onions to be added to it. Also said easy ice and it was in the mobile order app so they canāt read obviously and the drinks were fully loaded with ice.
My boyfriend & I love to get drinks from Sonic even if we get our meals from another place, so we are here multiple times a week. Iāve lived in California for about a year now, consistently ordering from this location for that whole time, and Iāve never had a less than perfect experience here. The drinks are always perfect, food is always yummy and made correctly, service is always fast, and the carhops are always kind. As a service worker myself, I know how stressful it can be and how tough it can be to keep a smile on your face in a huge rush/under a lot of pressure, but yāall never disappoint. Thank you all for providing great service!!!
Update ordered sweet tea and they brought out unsweetened tea. Then trying to charge again for it. DUMB.
Donāt use the Sonic mobile app here. They will clear your order from the screen to better their wait times and forget about it. Been waiting now 5 minutes past expected time- nothing but a couple dogs and drinks orderedā¦.
Itās no secret that sonic in California MO has been garbage for a while because they can in this small community. Today was exceptionally horrible I ordered 2 route 44 cranberry limeades both with no ice one with extra cranberry A hot fudge sundae a caramel sundae extra caramel and a large peanut butter Oreo shake.
Carhop brought my food and gave me my items I asked which limeade had extra cranberry and she seriously shrugged her shoulders turned and walked away. I got home and found the sundaes less than half full and also a pulled pork sandwich with extra bbq sauce it had almost no sauce and less than half of a portion of meat that was dried out in a stale bun.
This location has always been bottom of the barrel but today was the worst
Ordered on the app. Showed up 10 minutes later. Sat for 15 minutes almost 20 after checking in. Shouldnāt be waiting this long for food that I ordered early! Isnāt that the whole point of the app. There 3 at least if not 4 people working. June 30 10:40pm
