Sierra Circuits is just an amazing company. I ordered couple of pcbs for the project that I’ve been working on and entire process was smooth and effortless. At each step of the process you work with people assigned to you and they will inspect, correct and validate your design and as result you get high confidence that what you planed is what will be manufactured. I had couple issues in my design and we resolved them within an hour in electronic communication using their infrastructure.
Boards that I ordered were planned for 3 days turnaround time and Sierra Circuits produce them in the morning of 3rd day. Another thing that I really like is that I just drove to their office and picked my boards one hour after they were made.
Quality of boards is amazing. Every hole for every via 8/16mil is spot on. It feels to me that machines they use to manufacture boards in spec that I requested (5mil/5mil trace/clearance and 8mil hole size) can handle much tighter tolerances/requirements so I have no concerns about manufacturing defects/long term usage.

If you want to lose your budget, your time, the quality of your work, and on top of that getting crazy, choose Sierra Circuit!
We are from different groups, and projects in our lab from Stanford University, and at the same time we ordered several boards assembly by them for our projects.
Guess what happened (the same experience for all of us):
*You will get many many bothering emails during the assembly process as they always change the assembly person for your order. So, be ready to get crazy. However, this is just the least, see the rest:
*They charged us a lot (at least 30% more than the high quality norms).
*Damaged our PCBs.
*Even after hundreds of unnecessary questions they asked, they assembled the wrong items as they got shortcut together and they could not even find the problem.
*No one from the top manager to the workers is responsible for their mistake. They are so rude and irresponsible.
*Their strategy is to just send you to each other and finally not responding you at all.
*They never reimbursed us even for damaging the assembly, and also loosing our expensive components.
Now, we have all changed to other PCB companies to scale up our systems.
Please think before choosing Sierra Circuit.
I don’t normally write reviews, but since all of these seem to be older, and not reflective of what I have seen, I thought I might write a quick review. Customer service seems to be much improved from a year ago. They were pretty quick to respond in their review process of my board. None of my prototypes have ever arrived late. In fact I had one order arrive two days early. I would say their quality is above average. Seems like they got their stuff together over the last year.
On multiple occasions, Sierra Circuits has failed to deliver on their companies obligations. I have placed multiple orders with them, and have been met with constant delays and a persistent failure to communicate with me regarding these delays. I have also receive multiple designs with assembly errors. When contacting the company about errors, whether by submitting a ticket, contacting my account representative, or contacting the “Director of Sales”, I have been ignored, denied information, and strung along. I have received significantly faster project delivery and prompter customer service from Chinese companies. I have had very good luck with PCBWay and JLCPCB. JLCPCB is great because they own their component warehouse, so you can get some insanely fast turn-times relative to other Chinese suppliers.
For American Suppliers, I believe Advanced Circuits (advcircuit.com) will likely serve you better. They are an American Company that has been around a long time. I have heard very good things about them from coworkers and am regretful that I did not give them my money instead.

PCBs (with full turnkey assembly) were delivered promptly by their promised ship date. Their support was excellent throughout the entire process. I highly recommend their services and I’ll definitely be returning as a customer.
