  1. Kids loved it!

Room was nice though a tad smaller. However, best part was the other facilities they had on the property. Kids loved the pool table, pickle ball and hammocks. Office staff was nice. Location is in middle for most activities. Overall a nice pick.
**As mentioned in the listing, there is no air-conditioning (like several other places in Big Bear), but they had a fan in the room. We carried one extra fan just in case and that was good enough.

  2. One of the best hotels in Big Bear. Amazing views, comfortable beds, the rooms are very attractive and artistic. They have a bar so no reason to really leave the resort at night time. The staff is very nice, helpful and accommodating but most importantly you truly feel like family when you stay. They also have a clean pool which is a necessity in the summer heats.

  3. Hubby and I just wanted to get away a few days to relax and get relief from the over 100 degrees down the mountain. We stayed in a cute room in the big lodge. We had access to a large community kitchen, lots of table seating, pool table, fireplace, and TV. Very unique decor theme in lodge and bar. They have a large facility with a bar, also the decor in it is awesome, unusual items collected by them, made it unique. They have room to host events, like weddings, etc. The grounds have many activities to enjoy. Pool, fire pits, putting green, horse shoes, tether ball, and acreage to explore and walk your dog. This is our second visit here, and we will be back again. Thank you Frank for being helpful and making our stay special.

  4. Such a cute and funky place to stay in Big Bear! Very friendly and helpful staff with a great vibe. Plenty of space outside for fun and family and friends! Campfire circles for night time fun! And a shred shed for all your mountain bike needs! Fun bar for guests to hang out! Great for groups and extended family outings!

  5. This was our second time at Sessions and they just keep getting better. The staff is so gracious and legitimately happy to gab with visitors, you don’t even want to explore what Big Bear has to offer. Both times we’ve stayed in the little studio rooms that include a kitchenette and living room with fireplace. Probably about the size of a NY apartment, they are very comfortable. The bar (open to hotel guests only) is remarkable, and evidence of the creativity of the total restoration that was completed. We didn’t plan on using it but the swimming pool was great for a dip during the heatwave. And as luck would have it, there’s sporting goods store next door with swimsuits. Hard to imagine staying anywhere else when we’re in town.
