Outside seating was a nice option. Waitress was attentive. They had Heineken available and local IPA. The Royal Reds were actually good despite having eyes still attached (it’s a me thing, sorry). The seasoning was not overwhelming. It was a super casual restaurant. A few had swim suits on right from the beach. The restaurant itself is behind Boardwalk hotel and not easily spotted from a busy road. Additionally, the parking is across the street which would have also been handy to know ahead of time. I turned into two wrong parking lots before seeing the sign for the Sea n’ Suds parking amongst the moving traffic. Mostly the Royal Reds were impressive and the price was very reasonable so if you like that sort of seafood I recommend a visit.
Do overall we get a three star review here because nearly every piece of seafood here is friend. The stuff that wasn’t was at Best mediocre in quality.
However everything was almost made up for by the friendly service and the stellar views. Didn’t mind the wait at all.
Nice locoal seafood place, and it’s right on the gulf/ beach. Our server Joshua did an amazing job, answered any question we had, and kept on asking if we had any questions when we were trying to decide on what to order. The atmosphere is one of a kind since it’s sitting right on the beach. The gumbo and srimp set the meal off. The food was amazing, but for the price, I couldn’t give it a 5 star rating since it was pricey.
I 100% recommend Sea N Suds!!! The service was great, our server Joshua was Fantastic, the atmosphere was steller, especially since it was right on the beach, and the food was delicious! The gumbo, shrimp, and crab and cheese bites were my favorite!!! One of my new favorite places in gulf shores!
Unfortunately we went on a Friday and they were out of the all you can eat Mullet. We ordered the popcorn shrimp and it was hot, fresh, and more than enough food for $15. You do have to park across the street and walk but a fun little adventurous truck in the heat to eat.
