The company’s mission is to provide affordable, high-quality products and unmatched customer service. 1. I am so grossed out… I just brought home some of their cold zesty chicken wings from the Deli. The meat was gray and stale. On the container, it appeared a previous sticker was peeled off of the container and a new one placed on there. I have a feeling that the chicken was a lot older than the sticker was saying it was.

  2. I usually love shopping here as it’s 2 minutes from my home and the service is typically good. Today I just want to offer some advice to the management. When your store sells a health hazard and you feel compelled to give a lecture to the customer wanting a credit about why a receipt is important listing several reasons while having some condescending passive aggressive tone, the absolute BARE MINIMUM you can remember to do is APOLOGIZE. your company sold expired meat that Cleary had the incorrect date on it. I have half a mind to call the health department because there were several of this meat on the shelf. I’m a 34 year old mother and business owner. I don’t need to be lectured about receipts, sometimes they get lost. However, what should never be the case is rotten meat being sold. Please do better because if you’re a manager in a customer service position empathy, and apologies should be reflexive to you, how are the rest of your team going to engage with customers if thier leader behaves this way? What qualities do you look for while hiring if you behave this way. It’s concerning. But our interaction was insulting. “A oh gee, I’m sorry, I’ll let the meat department know and have them check on the rest of the ground beef” goes a long way. So I’m sure you’re not even going to mention this to the meat department. Someone might get sick because you were upset I didn’t have my receipt. I think I’ll travel down the street to vons from now on.

  3. Just left the Champlain store the checker Julia was rude , throw the receipt on my bag , no words exchanged.i left and said have a great day and try to smile. As a business owner she would be dismissed. This was this morning at 11:31 AM

  4. I’m a fan of Save Mart, local and fresh but…. Recently I was walking into the store when I passed by three Save Mart employees who mentioned something about “that brown guy”, idk who they were referring to but I was torn to hear such words. I don’t know the back story to their comments but it did not appear have a positive tone. Please be better.

  5. Mostly a nice place. Prices a little on the high side but good selection and good service. One strange thing that has been happening for the last several weeks is they put the tamper-proof seal for their cupcakes, cookies, etc. on the wrong side of the box. To Save Mart, there is a reason I want to be assured somebody didn’t open my box of blueberry muffins and that is why the seal/price tag goes on the side opposite the box hinge.
