Amazed to know that the supermarket has been in King City since 1967 – 57 years!
I love going to Safeway they always have what I want clean and friendly people!
We compared stores in the area, going with Safeway as they had a coupon for $30 off, which our grocery order was eligible for, but was baited and switched when we checked out. The promo was not applied once I checked out, although it showed the total with the discount included before I paid. Customer service (representative and supervisor) had no idea that their policies state all coupons and promos are reflected at checkout and kept insisting that after my order was “completed” (translation- picked up and $30 more) they could “validate” whether the code was applied and possibly give store credit. We don’t even have Safeways where we live, we’re on a trip. Policy also states the store is able to adjust or correct any promos that are deemed ineligible after the order is placed, yet they can’t adjust it when it’s an error on their part. Very suspicious business practices.

This is a great store with plenty of items to choose from. I have anything from food home goods, beverages, and pan actual deli. It’s conveniently located off of highway 101. The stuff is friendly and the parking is pretty large.
Rotten, expired food is a constant problem at this store. It is unsanitary at this store.
Safeway responded and couldn’t be asked to spell my name correctly. Seems that they put as much effort into their store as they do their replies.
