  1. The Rosewood is a meticulously maintained property that is very posh, warm and inviting. The staff are amazing. We loved the beach restaurant for afternoon snack and cocktails. The adult only pool is a nice amenity. The only negative is the train that runs through the property, but the overall property is incredibly quite, as was our room.

  2. I recently made a reservation at Reverb restaurant at the hotel, securing it with a credit card as required, with the understanding that there would be a $50 per person penalty for no-shows. When I arrived for my reservation, I was asked to wait and assured I would be called when my table was ready. After watching several others get seated ahead of us, I had to approach the host, who then finally seated us, seemingly forgetting about our reservation.

The brunch itself was just okay, nothing remarkable. However, what really soured the experience was discovering later that I had been charged $100 for a no-show, despite being seated and dining at the restaurant. After two calls to guest services and assurances that the issue would be resolved, nothing was done. I ultimately had to dispute the charge through my credit card.

This level of service is unacceptable, especially for a hotel that prides itself on being first-class. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won’t be returning to Rosewood.

  3. We had a fantastic stay at the Rosewood Miramar. The property is BEAUTIFUL and the staff is amazing. It is a VERY family-friendly hotel, and around 70% of the people there had kids with them — which we loved. Special shout to to Lawrence in the concierge for making our 6-year-old feel extra special throughout our stay. He even surprised him with a quick magic trick right before we left. We are big on service/attentiveness, cleanliness, and special touches and this hotel had it all! We live only ~2 hours away and have found our new weekend getaway spot! We’ll definitely be back.

  4. This Place 💕 Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! 10/10!
Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The housekeepers did an amazing job everyday we were there. We ordered room service multiple times and it was fabulous! We had sushi one evening and it was Great! I’ve stayed in sooo many places and this place is top tier. Lawrence the concierge went ABOVE and beyond to make our families trip a memorable one! Thank you to the staff, the management. What an incredible place!

  5. The hotel itself is beautiful. The staff upon arriving couldn’t have been more friendly. The hotel is very dog friendly (with an extra cost) and they made sure my dog had what she needed.

The food at Caruso’s tasted delicious. Sitting at a nice restaurant like this with my dog was really unique and special. The next morning, however, breakfast at the other restaurant was the opposite experience. Service was slow and the food and beverages were embarrassingly bad. It was the worst matcha latte I’ve ever tried and the smoked salmon bagel was disgusting. I only had a few sips and a few bites before I gave up. Something tasted very off about this food and it was very unappealing.

Soon after, I fell sick with food poisoning. I spent the next two nights in my room in agony and not able to enjoy my trip. I intended to continue on a road trip after this, but was in no shape to leave, so I changed hotels and stayed there two nights until I felt okay enough to drive back home. My trip was ruined.

Why Rosewood gets 1 star is how they behaved when this happened in addition to their lack of food safety and handling. At first, they seemed very concerned about me. The manager greeted me at my car before I left and apologized and promised to email me to make things right. He never did email or do anything whatsoever to make this right. Additionally, I was hounded by multiple calls that began, even as I was driving away, from someone claiming to do an “investigation” into the matter. There was zero concern for how I felt, but he pestered me with multiple calls when he knew I was still ill and changing hotels.

I spent many thousands of wasted dollars at this hotel and ruined my entire trip as this was my first stop. The worst part is it took me TWO MONTHS to finally feel normal after doctor visits and medications.

To say this is very disappointing for this level of a hotel is an understatement.
