  1. They have been completely unresponsive to messages I have sent my “recruiter” regarding job listings that I would be very well qualified or at least a viable candidate for. One was in regard to the legitimacy of a job listing they posted that said one of the main requirements was to know Adobe Flash. If you know anything about design you know this program was discontinued years ago so this seemed like a red flag so I wrote my recruiter to see if she knew anything more about their “client” to which I got no reply, making me almost feel like they are either scamming people, or being scammed themselves by people just trying to collect personal information and data. Regardless, I definitely do not get the sense that they are pushing or advocating for their talent on an individual basis, more so just filling the lowest hanging fruit of job openings (if that). When I signed up it took me a while to actually get ahold of an agent, and when I finally got one to call me back I asked her if she could review my portfolio and resume and let me know any suggested areas of improvement, which she said she would do, but then never happened despite me asking a couple times. I used to have a recruiter from a different creative staffing agency and they were constantly getting me interviews and throwing employment possibilities my way. At bare minimum they would return emails I sent them and not just ghost me. The only emails I get are emails about Robert Half jobs that aren’t even remotely relevant to my skill sets or career history.

  2. I have worked with Robert Half since 2015, and I have to say that my over all experience has been a good one. There have been some changes in recruiters, but they have all been great and have quickly been able to place me into positions every time I am looking for work. Communication can sometimes be slow and it can be a problem, but it is better to be proactive and call them directly than wait, because sometimes they will forget to call back.

  3. Disappointed with the level of professionalism. Spoke with a recruiter the last week of July and never heard back from them. It’s now September 1st. Followed up several times via email and phone. This warranted no response back from them. Reached out and spoke with a supervisor which got me no where either. Needless to say, if you want to find work quickly, it’s better to do your own job search, or use another staffing firm. They have a high level of turnovers for their recruiters. This should have been the only warning sign I needed. Would never consider using them for a job search ever again.
