Stayed two nights. Great place. Not a very big campground. Has just enough activities if you have kids. Staff was very nice and friendly. We will go back. I would recommend 100%.
Talk about a major disappointment. This place is a disgrace and had multiple issues. On the first full day we were here we had ants. We battled this all week long. We tried talking to the staff about it and all they told us was that it’s nature and what do you expect and went on to say that they do spraying of the campsites?? I THINK NOT. The maintenance of this park was disgraceful. Pot holes all over the roads and quite frankly on some of the campsites. Not to mention that the electrical box we were hooked up to was busted and they were holding it together with electrical tape. This is a major issue and a fire could very easily begin! To add onto all of that this place had no internet, we were without TV for a week. When we would try to address issues to the office the staff was very unfriendly, which can be very frustrating! If you would like to keep your sanity never step one foot into this place. This place was so disgraceful that WE WILL NEVER BE BACK END OF STORY!!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone, you are better off staying at a different campground, one that takes pride in the care of their location!!
Thought there was wifi but found that you needed to rent a ‘hot spot’ for $10/day which they did not have any available to rent. Also, we were looking forward to the infinity pool overlooking the river, however it was closed and in disrepair. The staff was very nice and the remainder of the park was maintained adequately.
Drove 1hr1/2 to chk out to see if we would like to camp here and the lady at the front desk was very unacomadating ask if we could chk out the place she said no asked if they could take us though the park with golf cart maybe but only one person can go because they carry garbage on the back ! Will I guess I will not be coming back sence there unwill to show off there resort
This place was beautiful. Spacious sites showers restrooms three pools splash pad. One pool was heated. The other two pools looked out over the coosa river. A walking path around the black lake would stop again if I were in the area.
