  1. Very nice! I stayed one night in Rm 1010 with a view of the church. ( thru the rain storm)Very clean.
Excellent staff here. Cohesive morale. You can tell they enjoy working there and like their jobs.
The gym was under construction so no workout. Roof top bar was a plus.
Sat at the bar for dinner( short ribs) EXCELLENT fare!
    Parking:
Don’t pay for valet parking when you can park right across the street.
If you arrive 5 PM or later, you can park on the street until 9 to 10 AM the next day for free.

  2. This hotel has the nicest employees staff. They’re so helpful. Rooms very nice beds. Comfortable. Very nice place to stay. The night of July 1st /2nd I woke up very cold the room 62°. I hadn’t turned it down and couldn’t figure out how to turn The temperature up. I called downstairs and told the front desk I was cold. She came up adjusted the heat brought me an extra blanket. Put the blanket on me while I was in bed. Turned out my lights and asked me if I needed anything else. They went Way beyond what they had to do to make me comfortable. Thank you to the girl that work the night on the first. I really appreciated it

  3. This is a great hotel with exceptional staff who were very accommodating. Starting first with the valet staff, Kevin and his team went out of their way to ensure prompt and courteous service throughout our entire stay. They knew us by name and made it easy to request our vehicle, even after losing my phone with the digital valet app. Secondly, the entire front desk staff were also very pleasant helping us in every way they could. All in all, I will definitely return just for the service.

  4. My experience was disappointing. When we arrived, there was no valet in sight, so we had to park across the street ourselves. The online pictures are misleading; the rooms are outdated, and while there are some attempts at updates, it’s just not enough. The hallways were eerie, and the elevators were even worse. To top it off, I found a roach in the bathroom—yes, a roach! The front desk staff was polite and offered a small discount, which I appreciated, but overall, I’ll definitely be avoiding this hotel next time I visit Birmingham. I’m giving it two stars because the hotel staff was nice. That’s it!

  5. Probably the worst hotel experience I’ve had at this price level. Checked in around midnight and was put in a room below the roof top bar which was still open and sounded like a concert in my room. Had to make two trips to lobby at midnight, once for room change and once to find the valet that wasn’t around when I checked in, despite it being valet only reservation. Was also given the option of paying $40 for breakfast in advance which I took, only to realize the most expensive breakfast they can serve is $16. Why charge $40 when you know it’s $16. So after being charged $40 for the inconvenient valet and $40 for what ended up being a cup of coffee at breakfast, I was $80 up on a room that I got very little sleep in.
