  1. Stopped in Batavia for the night on our way back to CT. Discovered this beautifully decorated Mex restaurant. It’s a real gem. We split a Fajita Quesadia which was just excellent. Service was excellent as well. This place is the real “McCoy” as the old saying goes. Spanish folks run it, and Spanish folks eat there so you know it’s completely authentic. Wish it was in our town!

  2. The BEST cheese dip I have had. The service was great and the dip was phenomenal but the prices are outrageous. I haven’t ever been to a Mexican restaurant that was THIS expensive. When we visited over the weekend I was shocked to see how empty it was… I opened a menu and figured out why. We had 2 margaritas and cheese dip, our total was $42. I’m sure the food is fantastic judging off the cheese dip, but I can’t fathom paying $22 for Quesabirrias.

  3. The only thing that would have made our visit better was if they had fried ice cream in stock. We’ll call ahead and confirm they have it. Enchiladas were excellent.

Update: they had fried ice cream on this visit and it was great. Chips weren’t multicolored like before and I think they mixed up which sauce went with the correct enchilada.
