An Asian Cashier Keila A, she is extremely rude. I had to return what I just purchased because the price is different. Then I asked for the original receipt, she ignored it, I had to ask again and her answer was “no”. I said excuse me I want my receipt back She looked at me dirty and kept ignoring me until I approached her and asked her again. Obviously she’s not happy to be there. Just leave or go fix the shopping cart outside so that you don’t ruin other people’s days because you’re not happy with what you’re doing!
I’ve lived on the street next to this Ralphs for the last year so I would be in the store all the time. Eventually I got to know all the employees since I was in the store multiple times every day, and most of them are great nice people- this is why it caught me completely off guard when everything happened. I was in the self checkout lane with a friend of mine and we were getting ready to leave when the cashier regulating the self checkout starts interrogating us as to whether we paid for the bag. She was extremely condescending and rude and basically just started attacking us out of nowhere. The other customers around were all just staring in shock at her behavior. First of all, I did pay for the bag, and second of all, I have spent thousands of dollars at this store just to be treated like a thief over a bag that costs TEN CENTS? Obviously she did not care about the bag and was looking for a reason to pick a fight. When I told her she had no right to be rude to me and my friend, she got very agitated starting raising her voice and pointing at us in a very unstable manner. The other customers were just shocked and staring at this point. She called out children at the end before leaving, we’re both 25 year old women and she’s older which we understood then that there’s some sort of resentful energy towards us and We just walked away without a bag because it wasn’t worth dealing with her instability, and then when we talked to her manager she said “oh I’m sorry thats very out of character
she’s just having a bad day”. As if that is a reason to treat people
so horribly?
I can spend hours in this store. So fascinated by their items. Yip I am South African and most of the products here is not available back home. Their fish selection is wide and well priced so is the salad and veggies and meat. The ready made sushi looks amazeballs. Also has a pharmacy inside.
No eating out for me while in Hollywood, we eating in and it’s all thanks to Ralph’s ❤️
Clean store. Deli counter staff were very nice. Loved the rock and roll mural on the front window.
Lana, not all people are from America and familiar with the concept of your store locking up in particular batteries and having to request it at the register. When a customer asks for assistance, provide the customer service you’re supposed to. If you don’t enjoy your job and can’t be kind or maintain professionalism, maybe it’s time to remove yourself from customer service so you don’t ruin anyone else’s day. You don’t know what people are going through and don’t understand the impact of being impolite. You couldn’t even bother to turn around to your customer and say hi or nicely advise what to do to a tourist. RUDE, unprofessional and arrogant women. Lana in self serve 10pm, 14th April.
