  1. I was thrilled to learn that I would be working in the same plaza as a Ralphs store, but unfortunately, my excitement quickly turned to frustration. From the Starbucks staff to the front end employees, I have felt unwelcome and as though I am being watched closely during my visits. Despite my friendly interactions, I have been met with rudeness and coldness that have made me feel incredibly uncomfortable.

I have made multiple attempts to show that I am a respectful and valued customer, but the treatment I have received has been disheartening. It has gotten to the point where I now go out of my way to avoid shopping at this particular location.

I have always had a positive opinion of Ralphs, but this experience has left me extremely disappointed. I am considering taking my business elsewhere and I wanted to bring this to your attention in the hopes that improvements can be made to ensure that all customers are treated with respect and kindness.

    BEWARE OF GIFT CARD SCAMS!
Bought a $100 gift card here and got scammed because the pin # was already scratched off and the fraudsters redeemed it before I did. I guess they don’t know which ones are planted so I wouldn’t risk it. Store employees can’t help you except give you a phone number. Corporate gives you the runaround but will investigate. I still haven’t gotten my money back so we’ll see. I’ll never buy a giftcard here again tho, lesson learned.

Good selection of fruit most of the times.
They have an organic section and I’ve been able to find my essentials here. Their organic selection has GROWN! The store had a glam up with a bigger organic selection and now a Starbucks in store!

Staff is super super friendly! They’re really helpful with helping you find things, getting items from a high shelf, and checking out your groceries.

    The bad? The parking lot.
It’s not a total nightmare but it’s cramped with so many businesses and it doesn’t flow well. So it comes close to a nightmare. Even during covid!
**I’ve literally had 2 different occasions where I was crossing to get to the store from my car and had cars zoom past me as if they didn’t see a pedestrian crossing in the crosswalk in this plaza. One occurrence happened today and I was right in front of Ralph’s. I hope the store or plaza puts brighter yellow paint or something for pedestrians to feel more safe. It’s not their fault tho but it’d be nice. Even a pedestrian crossing sign or something!
Parking is tight on this end of the plaza and people don’t care about right of ways. If not for the close proximity to home, I would come here less for the hassle and anxiety the parking lot here gives me.

  3. I went to Ralph’s before 8pm came out thru self help. The older lady wking was mad cause she had to work over time. She was mad ,I needed assistance she was talking so much about her job she even ask if I was going to pay for some items. I said of course. I am not going to take them. It’s my job , she talks to much like taking it out on the customer.

  4. To Corporate, GM, and owner,

I hate this store because it always runs out of whatever you need. For example, roasted chicken, shreaded cheese, and so on.

The employees are kind and helpful. Nothing against the workers/employees.

Today, I got so frustrated. I wanted to buy an oven roasted chicken. Every time I come in, the evening after work, this store is always out of roasted chicken.

But if I go Albertsons @ Montello, I know they always have hot roasted chicken and other meat in the evening.

Bottom line, when this Ralph’s store is out of product, I leave the grocery cart and walk out of the store.

Tired of the excuses, we’re out of food and product. That’s why I hate shopping at this store location.

  5. I just don’t prefer going to vons on my way to work. Most of the employees I come in contact with are polite and helpful. Compared to Ralphs in Whittier, i do not care for the self checkout. I feel like im in Beijing. I work seven days a week within months at a time. I am not at the point where i need to steal things. But the AI commonly “accuses” me of being a thief lol. I often have to get someone to override the self checkout system. More often than not I’m in a hurry for work and have to wait for an employee to continue through checkout. This takes a while because only one employee, in charge of multiple checkouts, is helping a variety of people or they are goofing off with their coworkers. Guess i can go to food for less on my way to work
