Local here. This store is trash. Very high prices. The escalator and elevator are always broken, usually at the same time. And the stairwell is dark and sketchy. I walked out today because there were no carts. Checkout lines are always long and their self checkout software is infuriating. I find myself always waiting for an employee to put in their code. I swear it’s like they don’t even want people shopping here. So today, I gave up and went somewhere else.
Everyone is super friendly, there is a Starbucks inside now so that is nice… sometimes it gets very busy and they can be short staffed, but they are always helpful and it is very close to the beach so it is a popular store. If you are stocking up for your trip I’d suggest the earlier the better, because there is usually a rush… even self checkouts can get unusually crowded after 1pm (especially friday-sunday)
Unfortunately, I have to do one star off for the bathrooms, there is one mens and o e womens stall… they almost never have toilet paper, the hand dryers don’t work and it’s not guaranteed to have paper hand towels either. Anything may be out of order in these but they are generally clean. Homeless lock themselves in there from time to time… and there is no sanitizer inside or outside which should be a must in my opinion. I don’t like to leave bad reviews, this is just me being honest, but I definitely bring my own hand sanitizer
Very convenient parking below store, with shopping carts availability to go down an escalator. Great selection of food & other miscellaneous items.

Clean organized. 4 starts because Customer service was abrasive and rude when I was returning unopened items the next day. Not sure why. This was today at noon and 30 min. Female, brown long hair. Great location in the beach with ample private parking. Ralphs is always my favourite store to do groceries.
My experience has always been positive at this location. The staff is on top of it, keeping shelves well stocked and keeping up with varieties.
