It’s a typical neighborhood grocery store with a good selection of fresh produce. It’s got lots of parking, good deals can be availed if you’re signed up for their free membership. The deli area is relatively well stocked with rotisserie chickens, fries etc, though their sub section can take a while to prepare a freshly made sub. There’s also a good selection of sushi but they’re on the smaller portion. No self checkout stations yet.
Nice Publix , indeed designed for more gourmet tastes (they have a huge side for wines). As always, nice greeters and great customer service.
Publix Supermarket is the premier supermarket chain in the south. The Publix in Vestavia, Alabama is no exception. The store is conveniently located just off highway 31 in the heart of the Vestavia community. I am always pleased with the cleanliness of the store. The shelves are always well stocked and orderly. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I must say that the deli and the meat departments are the best you will find anywhere in town. The store also has an excellent bakery as well as a top of the line pharmacy. This supermarket is a full service market. I highly recommend Publix at Vestavia.
This Publix is far superior to others in the area. I live in Homewood & drive to this one in Vestavia for groceries bc others are always out of products this one makes sure to keep in stock. Clean. Friendly staff.
This is an excellent Publix. The sandwich maker, Tonya, in the Deli was efficient, polite, and even suggested a hummus I had never heard of.
