  1. Don’t trust this insurance. When I starting with progressive I told them I was the only one driving the car and they gave me a price after signing a few days later they added my son and shot the price up even tho he drives his own car and pays his own insurance. I was asking them why they did that and that’s not the deal we started with them and went back and forth for a while but they would say no you have to pay or we send you to collection I ended up paying. DONT GET THIS INSURANCE.

  2. I have had Progressive Auto for years. When I tried to get a home insurance quote through them, I was not able to secure the quote online and was asked to call. I was on hold for upwards of 15+ minutes and when the representative finally answered she was not able to her me. She asked me to call back, which was amore waiting, with no other way to reach an agent for this policy. I’m very disappointed in the customer service and ease to get a policy.

  3. The only reason why I am still with Progressive is my inertia. It is a lot of hassle to switch insurance. Otherwise, I’d be long gone/. They have twice proven that they are friend to nobody but their bottom line.

  4. Progressive insurance is the only insurance I know who did not want to send me my insurance ID card to my address claiming that they don’t have to mail it to me if they emailed me. Keep in mind the one they emailed me was an expired one. When I asked for supervisor, the supervisor did not want to talk to me directly. She instead told the agent to tell me that they don’t have to mail it to me. They only agreed to mail it to me after I informed them that I was going to report them. I would not trust this company at all.

  5. Hello,

Yestetday, Progressive auto insurance acted in bad faith by knowingly refusing to mail me my insurance ID card stating, “we have emailed it to you and so we don’t have to mail it to you” . I needed a hard copy because my printer was not working and the ID card they emailed to me had was an expired card although I paid for the upcoming six months on January 12. I don’t believe it was an innocent mistake because even six months ago, when I first bought auto coverage I had to contact them multiple times to get my physical ID card and only received it after some weeks.

Besides, Yesterday, the lady, Hershei, who was on the phone with me told me that, “I have already talked to my supervisor that you wanted to talk to her but she told me to tell you that we don’t have to mail it to you”. After I insisted to talk to the supervisor multiple times, I was finally traHershey, to the supervisor, Melinda. After I repeatedly both ladies that I am going to report their practices to ftc, they finally agreed to mail me my ID. I don’t know what they profit by not sending me the physical ID but I believe it is unethical and strange to say the least.
