Sat at the bar and had a great experience! Not your typical Mexican-but in the BEST way. Guacamole was great-creamy but flavorful. Chips are thicker and delicious. Had the enchiladas mineras with steak and chicken enmolades-both delicious! I’m a wimp when it comes to spice so I couldn’t handle the mole here. 10/10 – would absolutely return!
This is an excellent Mexican restaurant that serves traditional Mexican cuisine and knows how to make a real margarita. They don’t skimp on tequila or use mixes. The staff is very friendly and the decor is nice. Quite busy when you walk in, while looking nondescript from the outside.
First time here! After a long hike we decided to have dinner at plazuela. This restaurant is cute inside. We ordered the carnitas plate that was very good, chicken enchiladas was good, carnitas sopes that was okay and fish taco was yummy.
After all the food is very pretty but i personally thought it needed a little more flavor… service was great! We also had the churros cheesecake which is a piece of cheesecake topped with cinnamon and sugar not bad but it was not what I expected. Prices are Bay Area prices, tacos are $6 each, plates $25+, burritos are like $17+
In town and decided on this place because of reviews and they were actually open until 9:30. We ordered the birria tacos and a plate of three tacos. Three tacos were surprisingly good, as well as the kiwi basil drink. Birria tacos were average and our server was kind, but a bit on the slow side. Would stop by again if in the area.
Great stop for dinner just outside of Yosemite. I was pleasantly surprised by the nice ambiance and amazing staff. Everything is made from scratch – great chips! Our whole table got enchiladas and they did not disappoint. Pretty decent portion sizes too.
